Here's the link to my other post: http://www.justbreastimplants.com/fo...ad.php?t=14158 (O-M-G! It's happening again!) So I went ahead and called Dr. Cohen's office and told his nurse what was going on. She had me come in so she could look at the offending boob. She agreed that it was the circumareolar stitch that was the problem and so we went over to Dr. Johnson's office(he is covering for Dr. Cohen) to have him look at it. I knew it wouldn't wait until Dr. Cohen got back into town in 2 weeks. I really didn't want to see another Dr., especially one I had never met, but I had to do what was best for my health. He also agreed that we needed to remove it. O-M-G-! It hurt so much worse than the other side did when Dr. Cohen removed it. I don't know if Dr. Cohen is more gentle or what, but it freakin' HURT when Dr. Johnson removed it! I had tears rolling down my cheeks, it hurt so bad. Dr. Cohen's nurse stayed with me and she was rubbing my leg and telling me it was okay. My husband said she teared up just watching me. The right one didn't bother me once it was removed, other than the occasional twinge, but the left one throbs and aches. I went into the bathroom a little while ago to remove the gauze and tape, because the tape was irritating me and I broke into tears when I saw it. It is all red and nasty. It's warm to the touch. I am so scared that I have a bad infection brewing. Dr. Johnson gave me another RX for Levaquin, so I am on another round of nausea. I'm so not looking forward to another week of nausea. There went another $60. I took a picture of the boob and put it in my yahoo group, if you want to take a look at it. I would like any opinions you guys may have. I am just so depressed about all of this. A month ago I had these beautiful boobs and now I am having to deal with all of this. I don't want to play with these cards. I want a re-deal! ![]() I hope Dr. Cohen is enjoying his vacation in Italy!!!! LOL! No, seriously, I do hope he is having a great time. He deserves it. I just want these 2 weeks to go by quickly and for him to get his butt back in the office. LOL! |

Cant you put on some neosporin as well as take antibiotics just to put on the offending boob? Just for added protection against germs?

![]() | Oh Carolanne...I am so sorry you are still dealing with this sweetheart. I really hoped this would clear up and be done with the first go round. I know there is nothing really I can say to make it all better for you, I sure wish there was. However, you are progressing in the right direction and hopefully now you will be on the mend for good! All I can offer you is support and encouragement and this will resolve itself with time and treatment, but I know it sucks and waiting is hard. Just remember we are all here for you girl, please keep us all posted and I am sending you a Hang in there girl!!! ![]() Rae |

Yes, my body was rejecting the stitches. Dr. Johnson, the PS covering for my PS while he is out of town, said something about 2 different kinds of sutures. One lays flatter (is braided) and PS prefer it, but it does tend to be rejected by some peoples bodies, whereas the other one is more noticeable, but it doesn't get rejected or infected as often. I'm assuming by that, he meant that I had the one that tends to be rejected more often. I'll find out more when I see my PS on 8/8. His office administrator called me today to check on me. I almost starting crying when I was talking to her. I managed to hold it together, but she knew I was down about it. She is so sweet. Dr. Cohen also did her breast augmentation and so she understands all of these emotions I am going through. She kept telling me how sorry she was and that as soon as Dr. Cohen got back into town they would get me fixed up. I love how they call to check up on me. Most Drs will send you home and you'll never hear from them again unless you have to go back in to see them for something. Dr. Cohen and his staff make you feel like you are their only patient. | |
