nipple discharge

Hi gals, I'm a bit worried, I am 6 months post op and discovered I have early CC 4 weeks ago..I have been taking 800 mg of Vit. E and my doctor gave me Singulair (I've been on it for 2 weeks)..my boob had stopped hurting and it was getting softer until two days ago when I woke up with pain in my boob and my boob was a bit tighter..I have my boyfriend vigorously massage my boob every night but last night I had a clear discharge from my nipple...I am worried, I don't know if its a side effect of the Singulair or maybe trauma from all the massaging I have been doing to my boob..If anyone has any insight please let me know.

P.S. I went to my doctors just 5 days ago when he tried to do a closed capsolectomy but wasn't able to pop the capsule.

That is awful! I'm so sorry to hear the news. Unfortunately, I don’t have any other advice to give you except to call you PS.

I'm sorry to hear you have CC. Hopefully the Singulair, massage and vitamin E will help. As for the nipple discharge, this sometimes happens after a breast surgery or when your breasts are massaged so aggressively, your body sends the wrong signal to the milk ducts to start producing milk. I think what you are seeing is probably colostrum, the fluid that comes before breast milk. If you are worried, call your PS - you can even ask if this is a possibility.

Okay, I spoke to my PS and he said that it was normal after the vigorous massage he gave me, he said not to worry and to continue taking Singulair, Vit. E, and continue massaging....But thanks girls for the support

as long as the fluid dosent smell bad go greeny or yellow or make you itch or feel hot chances are its just to do with your breasts being stimulated by the massage.
mine do this and its nothing to worry about
