Capsular Contraction After Redo

I just got my instructions from my PS. I've already picked a date and am really excited, but now that I'm reading all the risks I'm starting to get scared. I had my first surgery with no problems. One of the risks I read about is that the risk of capsular contraction after a redo is higher. Has anybody had this kind of problem the 2nd time around?

I just wanted to wish you luck! I plan on getting my breasts redone sometime in the future too so I'm curious as to what the ladies have to say. Since you didn't have any complications, are you just getting them bigger?

I don't think your risk of cc is going be higher just b/c you're having a redo. If you've already HAD cc in the past, then you are at a higher risk of developing it again. Otherwise, the risk factor should be the same as when you had your first surgery.

Thanks Nikki. I didn't have any complications the first time around. I have saline right now and they're pretty soft. I'm also going to go slightly bigger with silicone.
