Debb's update with PS

I saw PS yesterday. I will be having revision WITH REDO Jan.18th. He is going going to try and lower right nipple by cutting out area under lift scar and he had orginally planned. He won't say that I bottomed out because he said there's usually more implant at the bottom than I have. But, he did say he will be putting in permanent sutures to hold new implant up. He did try to say they weren't that far off and hubby ask who's boobs he was looking at? LOL
PS said they were better than a few months ago because now nipps are off by 1" instead of 2.

He also never waived at my going larger. Everytime I've seen him he has said it was not necessary. This time he said sure. I told him that I wanted to go up a cup size, have my nipples line up and still look natural. I ask if he could do that and he said yes. With hubby there he was all "I want you to be happy."

He said we would go from 275cc mod to 375cc mod+. He says this will take me to a solid C cup. I chose mod+ in the beginning but he prefered mods. My breast diameter is 13cm. My current implants are 12cm. He thinks this width is perfect for me. I do wish we could close the gap between them but he said that even though my breast sit apart the actual size of my sternum is very small and that he worries about them running together.

Best part is he spoke with the lady who has been giving me such a hard time about scheduling and price. (she was scheduling revision appts for me without telling me and then telling me I couldn't keep changing them even though he & I agreed to wait til after the holidays) She was actually nice to me after he spoke with her and the total cost for rev/redo is $1650! $800 for surgery ctr and $850 for implants.

Hubby is upset. He said he didn't get all of his questioned answered because PS & I were talking and now he won't tell me what his questions are so I can call and get answers. I told him if he had said something that PS could have come back inwhile we were there. I think a big part of it is the money. He wants it all done for free which I knew wasn't going to happen. Especially with going bigger. He now says I should just get the lift stuff fixed and be happy with the size I have. He said he didn't get what he wanted out of this so he doesn't see spending any more money. (ie..he's not getting more sex. Which has to do with his attitude, not my breast size changing)

i'm glad you seem to have sorted things out with your PS. i dont quite understand what he's charging you for though. i mean, it was obviously something wrong - from his end - so why is he charging you for a redo? is it for the larger implants?
and why put in the permanent stitches if you're having a re-do?

Well I have to have a revision on my lift because PS lift too much. He's going to trying to bring right side back down enough to match left. Also right side looks like its bottoming out so he is going to fix that.

Because I have to have this done I decided to go bigger while I was there. I only got to a full B and I want to be a C.

I hope this works. PS was so much different with hubby there. (even if hubby didn't say much) After complaining for the last 7 months that I'm too small I'm still worried about going too big! LOL Hubby is happy we are going with the mod+ as thats what he liked when I tried on sizers. He doesn't care if I end up a D.

We haven't talked about it since we left PS office. He was just being a jerk. Last time I spoke with my doctor about my lack of sex drive he said the problem would probably resolve itself if my hubby would have sensitivity training and my doctor is a man! LOL My hubby didn't like that answer. After about a week of doing without he ususally figues it out.

First off, you're question aren't stupid sweetie!

PS did make a mistake and he knows it. He is not charging me his fees. But I do have to pay $800 for the surgery center and anestesia. It's in the paperwork that I signed that in the even of a revision I would have to pay for that.
The other $850 is the price of new implants because he finally agreed to let me go bigger. I figured I have been unhappy with my size so I might as well go for it while I was there and getting a discount.

The permanet sutures are because right side is bottoming out. He said I'm not bottoming out in the way you normally see as I don't have more implant at the bottom of the breast than the top. But the implant has slid down too much. He is putting permanet sutures in to keep new larger implant from doing the same thing. Also said I would be wearing an underwire bra 24/7 for a long time. Even to sleep! Not sure if I will like that but I will do whatever is necessary to make it right this time.

I'm so glad he's not charging you his fees....it would be nice if you didn't have to pay the surgery fees too, but i understand that since i have to pay mine too when i have my revision.....And that's great you can go bigger at the same time...might as well since you have to go under anyway.....I hope it all works out for you this time!....I understand about wearing the bra 24/7....it sucks!!...LOL.....I've been doing that now for about the past 6 weeks and have alot more to go...

Debb,I am glad you get to have the problems fixed, and get to go up in size, how exciting! I do agree with Susan though, you seem like your very strong. Just try to stay that way through this. It's not easy when your husband is not right there with you on all of it. But he may come around. Sometimes my husband says things that are not sensitive and then realizes it later and finally comes around. Just want to say good luck!! Keep us posted. We'll be thinking about you..

That's my hubby. One day he says he's OK with everything then he's not. Most of it is the money. He does route sales for an ice company and it's not exactly the best time of the year for ice sales. I told him I already have it taken care of but that doesn't seem to help.

He keeps reminding me that he didn't mind them the way they were, that I won't be able to lift our son, that he won't be able to take time off from work to help, etc... (He only took 2 days the first time) He was like a kid getting a new toy when I decided to get it done the first time. He says he is just mad that we spent so much money and I'm not happy. (He knows it's not my fault but he's still mad) I really don't care anymore. I don't ask for much and never spend money on myself. I had major guilt the first time around. I don't this time. This is something that needs to be fixed so I'm having it fixed.

I think he will be fine when it's all said and done. He's just being a grump right now. He admits that even though he says they were fine before, he likes them better now and that he is hoping I wind up with a D cup! (I want a fuller C)

I just only had time to catch up and read this thread..
I am so glad for you it is going better with your PS.
He should not have given you attitude when you were alone.. it's funny how some people need to be pushed to do the right thing!!
i totally agree with Susan, you are very corageous and dealing with this very well.

I also saw your pics and yes, it does seem like it was his mistake.
I understand you signed a waiver (funny how they always have you sign these things, but what are you gonna do.. NOT sign and not get your work done?? I mean.. seriously!)
Anyway, good luck with it all. Maybe you can have a clause this time round stipulating that in the event that anything goes wrong this time, you will not be charged for anything should a correction be needed (which I hope you never need to use, but I think you're in a position to ask for that now)

Keep us posted and hope things improve with your hubby too.

PS.. My advice: Re-think you're size really well, because you don't want to regret it later! A half cup isn't that much and you'll get used to it very quickly!!!!

Sorry to hear about all of the stuff that happened to you... At least your plastic surgeon was willing to admit that he made a mistake and is giving you a reasonable rate for the redo/upsizing... Glad everything is working out for you, and good luck!!!

I just wanted to tell you to go all the way girl!! I went from a small b cup to a full c. I am only 10 days since my breast augmentation and right now I overfill the c cup. I love them to death. They look awesome in bra tops but when I put on winter sweaters I feel they are not big enough. Kinda wish I went to a D, but then again I worry I would have back problems. Also it is weird laying on my side with these big things, I could not imagine bigger!! I look so natural I love it. And sex... I love sex, even more!! Things will get better for you, keep your chin up!!!

Thanks. Things went alot better with PS when hubby went with me. He was very agreeable. I really like him I just got tired of hearing "going larger is not necessary." Heck my 1st breast augmentation was not necessary, I just wanted it! Revision is necessary, so I'm taking advantage of his misake to go bigger!

what are your stats? height, pre breast augmentation size, post breast augmentation size, number of cc's etc...
