It has been almost three months since I had my breast augmentation. The last three months were pretty uneventful - but now omg my breasts really hurt. I can't even stand under the shower the water hitting my nipples hurts so bad (this has been for about 2 months now) But in the last week my breasts ache it feels like they are swashed (don't know how else to describe it). Amost like how you breasts ache when you have your period - no not pregnant! Anyone out there shed some light on this. |

I am not sure if this will help, as I am only 5 days since my breast augmentation but my dr told me today that my nipples later may become very sensitive and it is normal. It does not happen to everyone so I am praying it will not happen to me! The dr did say it was temp. if it were to happen. To get a peice of mind you should just call your ps to be sure. Hope they feel better fast!! Good luck!

I'm almost three months too and the last week or so mine have been feeling harder whearas before they felt really soft like natural boobs. I put it down to them dropping and sitting on my ribcage more rather than just being suspended, I don't know My leftie feels quite tender too. I have my appt with my PS next week so I'll ask him about it. |

Hi! ![]() Sorry you're having pains! I know it sucks, I'm having some major pains in my left one. My nipple drives me crazy when touched and my whole boob gives me horrible shooting pains a LOT! I'm almost 3 months PO.My right one is just fine... I can't feel my nipple at all yet and the boob doesn't give me pains hardly at all... Of course my left one has a problem that I'm not 100% sure what it is yet-I think the implant has somehow gotten out of the pocket-that MAY be why I'm having so many pains. I really just don't know. Anyway I really hope yours calm down really soon for you and you can just enjoy them! Good luck! ![]() Quote:

My recovery went smoothly with no real pain. Then, at 17 days post-op, the stitiches that hadn't absorbed were removed. That's when the strange feeling started. My nipples were super sensitive for about two weeks. Now, my boobs ache. ??? I'm trying not to freak, but I'm 6-weeks post-op, and I'm feeling worse now than I did a month ago. ??? I lifted a couple of not-heavy Christmas decorations-boxes. I feel like the outer-boob muscles are bruised. Am I alone, or have other girls had this happen?

I was doing really well until Wednesday before Thanksgiving. (I had a magnesium IV during cardio tests, and that messed me up, I think.) Don't fret! I am probably having a reaction to all the food I ate this week end. I've read, in this forum, that we'll have ups and downs, and my boobs had a relapse. So, I went to VS and bought two new bras. I can't wait to wear one of them tomorrow!! |

Ive not had the nipples getting sore again, and dont want it either ! but mine do ache sometimes, and i wonder if its in certain bras, it never happens if im wearing the larger of my 2 cup sizes, only the smaller...weird, Cant remember the lady's name a couple of posts above who's worried about the recovery getting worse as time goes on....dont worry, i think its normal that there are quiet periods during it all , then a pang will come Couple of weeks ago, i was moving my sons bedroom round, and felt ok at the time, but afterwards, omg my boobs hurt ! and i got overs too, so i thought id be ok....maybe its just to let us know they're still there, and need tender loving care x

I have been on the road to recovery for just over one month now, and I was hoping that I was leaving aches and pain -ville, but no luck. My leftie drives me crazy! I see my ps on Friday so I have a few questions ready for him. When I call with a question I get his RN, and when I am in his office I feel rushed in and out. I hate the way they make you feel dumb because you have a question or a concern. Glad to know I am not alone, but sorry to hear that it is still going on for you all at 2 and 3 months post op.
