my sister had her aug done 4 weeks ago and her surgeon says she is developing early capsular contracture and has put her on Accolate and is recomending ultrasound. Has anyone had ultrasound done for this? If so how often and for how long.

Do a forum search for "ultrasound" (w/o the quotations). Some of the members have had this done, and some of them say it helped. I had it twice. I think it's wise to start on the Accolate. The sooner she starts, the better. |

I had 4 sessions of ultrasound along with taking Accolate for 2 months. After they do it, the boobie does get softer but my doctor still had to "pop" my implant because it was still firmer than normal and that hurt like hell. I am over 2 months out now and my righty is still firmer than my lefty. I am no longer on Accolate but I should ask him if I can go back on (thanks for reminding me )I don't know if I would do it again but its probably because the firmness in my righty does not really bother me unless I am lying on my stomach on a hard surface and it was costing me $26 a week...Good luck to your sister it may work for her and it doesn't hurt to try it...it's better than having to go back in for surgery, imo... Oh if you have any more questions please feel free to PM me...
