Severe Pain Last Night

hey all, looking for reassurance here please,
im 3wks p/o and last night out of curiosity, i tried to lift my arms up in the air straight, i couldn't do it, which wasn't a problem, i assume the skin just needs to stretch more.
BUT...i was in bed laying down a while later and tried to sit up and holy crap, the shooting pain in got under my right boob, where the scar line is nearly killed me, i tried again and i could not sit up, wtf..
bf was concerned but i opted to lay flat on my back with no pillow at all, slept all night and was ok this morning. i am a bit worried about this, do you think its just cos i overstretched or something more?

I had a crazy pain also, two weeks after my breast augmentation and I called my ps office, they made me come in and it was nothing. It was just muscular pain. And then it went away. But the pain was so hard that I cried myself to sleep.

I don't know if this helps, but I would have it checked out my the ps.

Hope everything is ok.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I wasn't able to lay down flat without any pillows until I was about 4-5 weeks out. Otherwise, it was just very painful, and I had some sharp, shooting pains as well. Most likely, it could just be some nerves regenerating. But, it wouldn't hurt to ease your mind by calling your PS if you want!! I hope everything else goes smoothly for you!! (I also felt like things were super tight when I layed flat on my back, and that went away pretty fast too!!!)

Had you not lifted your arms up since your breast augmentation? If so the muscles were probably pretty tight! Just curious - why haven't you moved your arms?? Have you had pain?

It sounds like you might have pulled a muscle or something. At 3 weeks tho, you should be able to lift your arms above your head. How many times have you tried to do that? Are you resting alot, and trying not to move your arms?

i've not done it before.
i do feel on my left side (not the side with the pain) that it feels a bit tight at the crease as though there is a stitch or something inside cos it does feel a bit tight. the left is also the side that needs to drop a bit more, thats why i was surprised when i got the bad pain in the right side last night.
