![]() | Capsulectomy?
It's been a while since I posted..hoping for some more wonderful support from you girls. I had my breast augmentation 6 months ago. I had a crease revision so I still have a terrible crease in my left breast and it looks rather double bubble'ish to me too. I went in for a checkup today with my surgeon (as he has been hoping the crease would work itself out.) and he agreed it was going to need some help. Not only that, but one implant is sitting just a tiny bit lower than the other. My surgeon said he thinks I have a large amount of scar tissue in the right breast causing my implant to be kind of tight and not wanting to drop where it should. Has anyone been in this situation? Hope I'm not rambling..lol. On the lighter side, I'm going with bigger implants this time around and am really excited about that! Guess I'm just looking for reassurance or the feedback of someone who has btdt! Thanks a bunch ladies! |

I haven't had a capsulectomy...but I just went on my one year follow up visit with my PS and he said that it looks like I have a little bit of scar tissue at the bottom that I could get a capsulectomy if I wanted to, which would release it a little from the bottom...but I don't have a bad case of it...I didn't even know because you can't tell by looking at me.. I guess it's just a little firmer underneath. I think if it's bothersome and very noticeable I would go forth with it, which it sounds like you are due to the excitement of bigger implants. I wish I could give you my experience of it but just wanted to let you know that you're not alone out there....wish you lots of luck ~ when's your redo date?

Thanks! ![]() I'm calling to schedule it at the beginning of Feb. We're looking at the second week of March. It's definitely very noticeable...unless I'm clothed, lol..then they look great! P.S. Your breast augmentation was on my son's first bday, lol. |

![]() | Sorry that you have to revise, and I hope it all works out well for you... I had cc with my 1st implants and had revision surgery, what do you want to know? The pain was the same for me and I was a good girl and popped my meds.... The db I have no information for you there... I am sorry and hope that you are feeling emotionally okay - I am sending you big hugs ... Your increasing your implants? May I ask why the increase and and how much? On the lighter side, I will be happy for you when you are too.... Keep us up to date and hope to chat with you again... Take care, Quote:

Wow, what a difference! I'm doing fine today, a little groggy from anesthesia & a little pain in my breast but really I can't complain. My right implant was a solid 2.5-3 inches higher than my left. My original BS surgery was 4 months ago and the right one had not dropped much, if at all, since surgery. Today my breasts are even and the right is remarkably softer already! I'm so pleased!! |

Bebby...emotionally I'm feeling okay...I've been really disappointed since I got them and just feel like they should be as pretty as the money I paid for them...lol. I'm going from 600 ccs to 800...and before anyone says "OMG!!" lol....I have a tiny waist..but the shoulders of a linebacker and honestly the 600 ccs aren't even remotely what I thought they would look like. No one really would even know I have implants if I didn't tell them. My surgeon said it would be easier this time around, recovery wise...but I'm not holding my breath. I guess my biggest concern is having to do this a 3rd or 4th time...I just really want this to work!! |
