![]() | Pain in my cleavage
I am 8 days post op and not feeling much pain except for what started today which is a pulling and sore feeling in my cleavage. I'm worried maybe my implant maybe pulling at my cleavage, could this be the start of symmastia or am I being paranoid and pain in your cleavage area is normal. It just aches, its weird. And it just started today. I still have a flat spot in between my boobs, where my sternum is. I just can't figure this pain out, its driving me nuts!

It happened to me too. It must just be part of healing...it's gone away now but sometimes during massage when I push my boobs together it still kinda hurts...I'm at about 2 and a half months post op...

If it's bad, ask your ps...but I think it is normal to have soreness and aching at weird spots throughout recovery. I get odd aches now and again still at 4 weeks. Angie |

I had the same issue. It went away around day 14. My ps told me that symmastia is very rare if the implants are under the muscle. Ask about it at your next appointment.

I think it is very normal..I have pain there and sometimes numbness..I asked today and he said that it is from the nerve endings in that area..It will go away with time..

![]() | We all say the same thing... To have pain in this area is normal, however to ease your mind, maybe get your PS to check it out! Happy Healing! ![]()

Oh good! Thank goodness because my cleavage is sore! I just was thinking how does the skin on my sternum hurt because it shouldnt be stretching atleast I'd think not. I think it might be from driving because that is when it started! I think turning the wheel may make the muscles on the inside of my breasts more tender! Who knows thanks for the info makes me feel better!

I had that too. I was worried about symmastia but I had no problems at all. I think it is due to the large implants. Don't worry at this point. Feel better!

It's normal! Don't worry. Later on, the pain in the cleavage will pop in and out once in a while. I get so paranoid about so many things too. You're not alone!
