Cost of Symmastia repair???

Hello! Well I'm pretty sure I have symmastia. I got 300 cc moderate profile saline implants put in a little over 2 years ago, and a year later I noticed the implants getting closer and closer together. Now they are touching and raise the skin between my breasts about 3-4 cm without a bra. I would very much like to get this fixed!

I'm desperate for a surgeon who will be able to fix this for me near or in the Orange County, California area. I'm considering going to Dr. David Kim of Beverly Hills, since I've heard nothing but great things about him! I've also watched his video on fixing the symmastia that a certain patient had. Her results were so good!

How much would a symmastia repair surgery cost? I also want to take out my old implants and replace them with 400 cc high profile saline implants. Is this possible?

Thanks!

I would like to add that I am 5'0" and 94 pounds! Pre op: 32A, Post op: 34 small C's

Storm will become famous soon enough
I have read it is pretty pricey and not al surgeons do it..
Somewhere around the 10-12K mark.
Make sure they are experienced..
As far as the implant exchange only a surgeon can answer that..

Ditto what Storm said. Symmastia can easily cost $10,000, if not more.

As for the new size, you'll need to discuss that with a ps. You definitely need a narrower implants. The 400hp's are likely more narrow than the moderate profiles. (I haven't looked at the specs.) A friend of mine had a symmastia repair and had her 600mps exchanged for 600hps, and it worked out beautifully.

Hi,

So sorry to hear you are going through this. I too have symmastia, and it is going to cost $14,000 to have it repaired with a specialist. It is a very difficut and time-consuming repair to perform and requires a level of expertise beyond what your average plastic surgeon is up to. Please make sure you go to someone who is expert in these reconstructions.

Best of luck.

If you are going up in size it will make the repair more difficult and will increase the likelihood of failure. For a successful repair you must decrease BOTH size (cc) and diameter. I will be going down from 500 HP to 300 mod plus. My doctor feels that sometime the intense projection of large HP implants can exacerbate the symmastia problem.

I am deciding between Dr. Poutsi and Dr. DeWire. I think they are both really great, but I am leaning towards DeWire since he has so much experience with bottoming out - and I have already bottomed out once.

Good luck Mellie with your redo!!! make sure to go with an expert
I think Dr. DeWire is a great choice. I live in California and will be using Dr. Ronan who worked/studied under Dr. DeWire, and uses the DeWire symmastia repair techniques. Best of luck Tinkerbell!
