Smile Good news after explant surgery!!

So, I called the PS office this morning because I am swelling from my collarbone down to my thighs (feel like the Pillsbury Doughboy!) and wanted to see if I could get meds for swelling like I did after original breast augmentation. The secretary to me to hold on while she got my chart, then the PS got on the phone.
Explained to me he was hesitant to treat the swelling, that this was a different surgery than breast augmentation, and that I would pee the fluid out over the next few days. Whew!!

Anyway, he also told me that the pathology report was back from the explant surgery yesterday...and it was clean! "No bacteria identified" !! I told the doc "Well, I guess double-dosing those antibiotics did the trick!" He laughed, said "I'll pretend I didn't hear that!"

Anyway, he said the pocket "got a thorough cleaning out" and that once it is healed we can discuss redo. He said that with the good pathology report "that might be sooner rather than later". Oh me, let it be!

Wanted to share good news about my "daugmentation" surgery!! Bow Wow!
