![]() | Hortongirl Hematoma Repair Update...LONG AGAIN
Hey Ladies, I just wanted to first hope that everyone that has had their breast augmentation or redo done in the past 2 days I hope all went well and that your recovery is coming along fine. OKAY...so I have the excavation of the hematoma on yesterday. The morning started out a very emotional one. I was nervous again of course and due to my nervous habit (shaking my legs extremely rapidly) everyone was able to remember me very quickly. LOL I don't know it that was a good thing or bad, but everyone was VERY good. So meet the anesthisia folks again, she had trouble getting a vein, when she finally got one when she looked up the tears were rolling. I hate needles, but can't say if I was crying from the discomfort or from everything that was happening again. The PS nurse came in and from my nervous hait she recalled me from my last visit and evern recalled when I called the office and what was going on she that made me feel really good that she know what was going on. And ironically she said she was just saying to herself that it had been a while since there have been any problems and low and behold call with complications. They reassured me that everything was going to be okay and that they would take good care of me. The PS came in to talk to me and explain what he was going to do and once again the tears just came, I was apologizing as I was crying, but I'm sorry I was still overwhelmed with everything that was happening all over again. Everyone was comforting whether it was giving me a hug or rubbing my back, they just really made sure I was comforted. Back in the COLD room, so they put the oxygen on and I said in the name of Jesus I am covered in his blood (I apologize if I offend anyone, but at this moment I have to and had to hold on to my faith regardless of what I am doing right or wrong). I remember waking up thanking Jesus and preparing for recovery. Here's the deal...it appeared that the implant may have moved and rubbed unhealed tssue hence the bleeding, to release it went to the location of least resistance, the incision so that's ho and wh the blood was escaping. So it could've been my pushing it couldn't been just the risk, I'm done questioning and blaming myself and just sitting/laying still now. Now I'm back in additional discomfort again, I have a drain in and went to get checked out today, but it has to stay until Monday, it sucks, but if it's going to help I'm for it. From all the cultures that were taking everthing was negative so that's a good thing, but still on the antibiotics to be safe. I couldn't figure out why the side of my boob was giving me discomfort and not the incision, well the my surprise the drain is on the side and not on the incision , so I'm still putting on the neosporin on the incisions and watching the drain. So in my mind another scar, but I have to say for a good reason, my health and life means more to me than a scar and I am quite sure over time it'll fade, but let me tell you something, the pain meds still work. MY PS said everything is looking excellent now and that all should be well, although I'm not out of the woods do to the drain still being in and having an open area. So for now, it seems as all is going well, uncomfortable with some pain, but I'm not doing anything to cause any problems and I pray that all goes as planned this time. I will post a pic of the drain on my group just so you guys no what it looks like, but it may not be until I'm up to it. I just want to say I thank everyone for their advice, virtual shoulders, ears, hugs, it's all been great and I love you guys for it. So if you don't hear from me in a while know that I am just laying still and although I am on now, I probably won't see the light of day until tomorrow. The DH and kids are going to the movies tomorrow and I told them they sucked, but it's good for them, just b/c I gotta stay in doesn't mean they need to suffer with me. I would love to go and know that it's not much, BUT there are too many extra germs in the theater so....I'll have my own movie days at home. Okay, my novel is over. Thanks!! ((gentle hugs)) No spell check so sorry for errors.

So glad for the update, darlin. I was worried about you. Well...it sounds like though it's a big pain in the butt, everything is going well though so that is great news. Stay positive, keep your faith, take your meds and get some sleep. Wishing you well...

Bless your heart! What a day, huh? But sounds like all went well. I'm glad the staff made you feel comforted and cared for. That's the way it should be. By the way, I had a drain right after my explant. I was also worried about another scar. But, it has turned out to be a tiny pin-prick of a spot, not a scar at all! Hopefully that is one less thing to worry about! Glad you are taking it easy... |

What an ordeal! Take it easy! Your in all of our thoughts for a speedy recovery! By the way, it was nice to read that you prayed & you should certainly not apologize "if" anyone has been offended. In times of crisis in despair you should hold onto your faith...maybe more people should be doing that. I've read a lot of posts and stories from some other incredible people...you are another inspiration to all of us. Take care of yourself, pamper yourself and enjoy your quiet time. I have 2 kids also, so I know those times are few and far between! Be Well!! |

Thank you for taking the time and effort to keep us posted on how you are doing. We worry, you know? I wish you hadn't had to go through this but it sounds like the worst is over. So maybe it set you back a few days in healing, what's a few days in the scheme of the whole thing? Sleep and rest, honey, as much as you are able. You are in my prayers. Annie |

thank you for sharing with us monique... I will pray for you and your health...I've worn the drain before and i know it hurts, it was a seperate incision from my crease and i can't see it anymore so don't even worry about that part. you will feel so much better once you get off the meds. Do as little as possible for the next week, the housekeeping can wait. soft hugs tammy |
