Anyone see blood on bra where incision site is??

I am 4 weeks post op and have been having some pain in the (crease) incision area. Today I noticed some blood on my bra on both sides. Anyone know what this could be?

I am 2 weeks post op and I have some blood on my left incision.. just a little bit but still blood.. my dad and sister took a look at them (medical professionals.. lol) and they said the site looks clean and close. I called my doctor and he said it's normal and has known to happen. I have an appointment to see him this Thursday so he's going to take a look at it then. I am having some soreness on the left incision site but it's also where my bruise is.

How does your incision sites look?

Congrats on your breast augmentation and apart from what you have written - I hope you are doing well!
The pain in the crease is normal and it does take time to heal... I would imagine that the spotting is also normal unless of course it doesnt stop or changes colour etc... You may have simply aggravated the area...but should it not clear up - calling your PS will clarify this for you! Happy Healing...

This is happening to me...what was your outcome, ladies?

I am 6 weeks post op and noticed blood/pus on my sports bra this morning. I looked at it and a pinhole sized area on my incision is where it's coming from. I called my PS and they said it could be due to the scar being dry and maybe I aggravated it somehow. She said to look out for swelling, but so far none, so that's a good sign. I'm putting Vit E on them now, but haven't put anything on them so far. Do I put the steri-strips back on it? How long does it take to heal again? I thought I was in the clear

after i had my dressings taken off at my 1 month PO check up, i noticed that i started getting little pus spots on my bra. my incision had opened up slightly because i had overdone myself in work(!!!) so i just put non adhesive gauze on it, and changed it twice a day. this stopped the bra from rubbing the incision. i also kept it clean and dry. it healed after about 2 weeks, but boy did it worry me sick! xx

Red face

yes, the incision area is most likely irritated from the bra...i had aerola incisions which "wept" a bit too, but my surgeon said it was all normal...

Thanks...

Sarah X, wow, took 2 weeks to heal huh? Yeah, I've been worried because it's been about 5 days and it's still oozing. Did you put any antibiotic ointment on it? The hole looks like a pinhole...is that what yours looked like?

I changed my steri-strips yesterday after my shower and noticed that I must have had some recent bleeding too. I wonder if maybe we're all overdoing it since we're feeling a lot better at this point after recovery.

I feel almost totally normal except for the odd things here and there so I'm back to my regular activity level except for lifting.

Wow- same here at 4 weeks post op - I noticed a small opening where the vertical incision met the horizontal (had full anchor lift) and it was oozing a little. I called the PS, they said to put neosporin on it, cover with a band aid and not use the normal steri strip on it. I'm on strict instructions to use 3M tape for 3 months, so I put that on all around the band aid. Its been a week - the hole is gone but I'm still red and hopefully healing.
