CC at 9 months Post Op

Sorry your going through this. I agree with VisionQuest. Keep at it. I have read post on here of girls who fought there cc on there own. You can do this. Stay positive & keep your head up. (((HUGS)))

I'm one of the girls that fought it Ginger. Dont give up I was told at 4 wks po that I had CC. At the worst point I was between grade III-IV in my left. I'm 6 mo po now and its gone. I'm still taking Accolate 2xday, 1000iu VitE 2xday, and VIGOROUS massage to make sure it doesn't come back. I do floor compressions and sleep on my tummy every night. I may have to get my pocket revised/lowered tho but not until Jan so maybe it will change some more by then (my ps isn't charging me for the surgery but I'll have to pay the anethesiologist $1700).

Don't give up yet, you don't have to do surgery yet you should give compressions a try first. I would at least give it a couple months to see if it will improve without surgery. The pain is awful tho, I had serious pain in the beginning but after a couple weeks of taking meds and massaging it got so much better. Just try to massage thru the pain. I had times that I couldn't even get off the floor because the pain in my left was so bad, I would have to roll to my side and then scoot myself to sit up. It was terrible but so worth it. You can do it! Keep us posted and good luck hun.

I've been doing serious massage and taking lots of vitamin E. My boob hurts so bad right now I can barely stand to touch it! The implant itself is now pretty soft..but the pocket is all jacked up. My boob is still sitting about 3/4 of an inch higher than the left! You can really tell by the nipple!

Is it possible to stretch that pocket on the bottom side of it? My fear now is that I will have to have surgery to correct that part of things... I'll take a picture and post it here later today!

Hard to say Ginger mine was really wacky looking at week 4 and 5 and much better now I am 11 weeks post and I see my ps this friday for a cc checkup. My breast is far from normal but is much much better when I lay on the floor I can still tell I have a ways to go and I know I may have to have surgery or something down the road I do not know but my right dropped down some last week and that I would think is a positve sign so I think if you keep at it and the pain will get better after a time. Mine was so painful at first and I know its hard to inflict pain upon oursleves but I made myself massage my breast all the time and this LED light I am using may have helped I have not way of knowing the girl I got in from in australia who had cc and beat it swore by it so I use it daily as well as part of my cc regimen do not give it and we are here for you

Well it is confirmed to me today that I have a cc. So I am right there with you. (((HUGS))) You can beat this. Keep massaging & stay positive.
