So upset.... I have CC

I just got back from my 1 month post-op and it's been confirmed, I have capsular contracture. I am sooo upset, discouraged, and full of regret. This was one of my main fears, and it's become a reality. My left breast, which just seemed to be lagging behind has Stage 2 CC.

My PS said he I need to just concentrate on being more aggressive in my massages on that one breast and that we'll wait until the 6 month mark. He also mentioned that there is a small chance that it'll recur.

I can't even begin to explain how terrible this makes me feel. Sorry, but I really needed to vent.

Does anyone have any advice on this? Or have any of you been able to massage your way out of it?

i'm so sorry for you i was told as soon as you get your breast done you should massage a couple times a day always.

I've actually been very good about doing my massages and following all of the instructions my PS gives me.

Sorry to hear that you have CC. Its just a risk that we take when we get our surgery done. But I hope that you can take care of it with more aggressive massaging. Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear that. Have you been taking Vit E? There is a thread on here about someone beating CC with out meds.

Girl I am so sorry and can relate I was diagnosed with cc in my right at 5 weeks and am still fighting it as of today I was stage 3 and he thinks I am more stage 2 now so my advice is to not give up until the dr says to I am trying to beat it without surgery sending support and hugs your way

yes we have all heard of girls that have beaten it with aggressive massage, vit e/milk thistle, ultrasound... of some variety.

keep massaging (my last post op, my PS said "massage the HELL out of them" so i think it means... a lot more than i had been doing that's for sure)...

Thanks, ladies. I'm so glad to have found this site. It's a huge relief to know others have gone through something similar and have emerged w/ good results. I may have overreacted (AFTER I was out of my PS office) but I've had a rough summer and everything's been so stressful. This is the one thing I was looking forward to and finding out that something's wrong was devastating.

They are now 7 days old. I am a wife (married for 8 years) and proud mother of my 7 year old daughter. 1st breast augmentation went from a 32 A cup to a big B cup small C cup (350cc saline implants) had implants for 2 and a half years 2nd breast augmentation went from (350cc saline implants to 450cc) had implants for 3 months. 3rd breast augmentation went bigger from a (450cc saline implant to 650cc) had implants for 4 years. 4th breast augmentation experienced a deflation with saline redo went from 650cc to 620cc high profile saline implant brought me too a 38 DD cup. Had implants for 6 years. 5th and final breast augmentation March 9th, 2010 switched from saline to silicone smooth round mod plus cohesive gels 750cc. boobies are 7 days old, very happy with results! They are so soft and bouncy!
