What is wrong with my boob??

I'm a month and more than a week out of my capsulectomy and upgrading from 350cc to 540cc, and for the past two days I've been experiencing some problems. It's my right boob, which had the capsulectomy, that is bothering me. I don't know what's wrong, so help me out, please?

First of all, the side closest to the cleavage feels weird; it has that CC tightness to it, but not quite. The boob itself is soft, so I don't think the CC is back, but it feels constricted, like the skin is really stretched out. My DH said the skin on that boob feels thinner, and he can feel the implant more on that side than on leftie.

And today I noticed I actually have a dent/rippling in the same area. This is only noticeable when I massage my boob and move it upward. It's like I can see the edge of the implant

Also, I'm worried about symmastia. My boobs are really close together; I have awesome cleavage when I don't even wear a bra, but naturally I'm worried about symmastia. Maybe that's what is about to happen to me, that the right implant is migrating toward the middle??

I have my second post-op Sept. 21, but should I call my PS and ask to come in earlier?

Your thoughts on what might be happening to my right boob??

FIRST breast augmentation, 2005: 350cc saline, Mentor, smooth, round, moderate, periareolar incision.

REDO, JULY 2009: 450cc filled to 540 saline, Mentor, smooth, round, moderate plus. Crescent lift. Redo also involved capsulectomy of Grade IV CC.

Thinking about getting a benelli lift and switching to silicone.

Why don't you go ahead and give your PS a call and tell them whats going on the 21st is a long way off and to me thats what there are there for is support and care Since it was your CC breast before and you are having some concerns its never hurts to get them checked out to make sure things are OK

Yeah...definitely ask your PS if you can come in sooner if for no other reason than to ease your mind! You're probably feeling the implant more because it's bigger than your old one. Another reason is probably because he removed scar tissue during the capsulectomy and now you may actually have very little scar tissue. Also, I've heard when scar tissue is removed in a capsulectomy, a minor amount of real breast tissue is lost also. Just get in there and get concerns addressed so you feel better. Hope all is fine and best wishes!

Thanks girls! I'm calling my PS either Monday (the office might be closed) or Tuesday, and ask to come in earlier. I'm just so tired of having problems with everything...

I was so scared of symmastia too. I am slowly getting over the worry but I still dont wear normal bras cuz they tend to push them together. I even saw my new PS and he had no concerns at all. Talk to your doc, I am sure you will be fine. My boobs were super close pre breast augmentation too.

I didn't even know what symmastia was in great depth until I looked into it. Shoot, I've been wearing a sports bra that really pushes my boobs up and together, but now I brought out my surgical bra and it keeps the girls more separated.

And I definitely have a ripple right in my cleavage area where the skin feels really thin (on the boob that had the capsulectomy). Of course I would get a freaking ripple in the MOST VISIBLE AREA EVER! What the eff?

I'm mad. Why does sh*t always happen to me??? Oh well, I'm calling my PS ASAP because I need to be reassured that nothing is nothing wrong and if there is something wrong, it needs to be fixed ASAP...

I'll definitely keeping you gals updated!

Plonk, the placement of my implants is the same as it always was: unders.
About the rippling, I would be fine if it were anywhere but my cleavage area that's the most visible part!

Like beckybee suggested, I think that the problem is that because of the capsulectomy of grade IV CC, the skin right there is so thin and that's why the edge of the implant/rippling can be seen. My PS said that he had removed a quarter of an inch of scar tissue, so that's a lot of tissue that's been removed from my boob.

I called the PS's office and I can come in early Thursday morning to see the nurse. My PS doesn't have any early-morning appoitnments until Sept. 21, but I don't want to wait that long. Oh, and I love this nurse; she took care of me when I had surgery and also saw me at my first post-op.

OK, I had my appointment today and nothing is wrong with me. HOWEVER, the nurse said that the slight rippling that I have is due to the weight I lost postop. She said even 5lbs can make a difference, and that's what I've lost, if not more. So basically, the more weight I lose,t he more rippling I get. I don't know what to do; I still have 10 lbs to lose, but I don't want to mess up my precious, expensive boobs! She nurse also said that the only thing that would help was to regain the weight or stitch to silicone: however, she had silicone and still had rippling. Sigh...

She told me I didn't need to worry about symmastia, so that's a major relief! But she did tell me to avoid sleeping on my stomach AT ALL COSTS. Another sigh...

I was told I am still swollen and won't see final results until a FEW MORE MONTHS, which surprised the heck out of me. I thought I was done already But I realized what she was talking about when she said my sternum was still being swollen. I mean, I didn't know; who pays attention to their sternum??? Not me!

She also told me that my scars are healing beautifully, and she was surprised that they look so good at this stage (I'm using Kelo-Cote on the scars and vit E mixed with Palmer's Cocoa Butter on the rest of the boobs).

My nipples are too low for my personal taste, and she said that I *could* have a donut lift, but not until I have reached the 6-month mark and maybe then my nipples would have positioned higher.

So that's my update!

Well I am glad you got a good report of sorts other then them telling you that as you loose weight its going to make a diff on your breast augmentation and I know those are words you did not want to hear. Why did they tell you to avoid stomach sleeping?
