implant exchange due to capsular contracture (should I go ahead and go bigger)

I am having an implant exchange due to CC in my right breast. I thought about going ahead and exchanging the left on too and go slightly bigger.
I have gained about 10 lbs since my surgery, now I am wondering if I would look better bigger. I have 275 implants filled to 330 and 320 (due to assymetry) Thought about 375cc I am 5'7" and weigh 130. But then, I look and think to myself, my left breast is perfect, no cc, fluffed nicely. Is this what they call booby greed?

Wow that's a tough call. There is always the thinking that if it ain't broke, don't fix it but I think that I probably would be of the other thinking that goes along the lines of : well if i have to have another surgery anyway, I might as well go bigger while I'm at it...

If your going to be recovering why not just go ahead with both?!?! Right? If you have CC in the one breast already what are the chances of it occuring if you re-do the other?

LOL yes this is boobie greed. I had mild rippling on my right side, nothing at all wrong with my left so I decide to swap them both out for silicones, 250 cc larger. Major, major boobie greed on my part! Ha ha! If you want to go bigger, then now is the time since you are going for surgery anyway. So you might as well! At least, that's my thinking! Of course, that's just me and I like 'em big!

Okay I must tell you that I have 375cc and have boobie greed. I am 5'8" and currently 117 pounds wearing a 32D. If I had to have more surgery I would probably exchange out both implants and go a bit bigger. I think you have to ask yourself where you are at...would you wish you had gone bigger later or would it be harder to take the risk of the good breast having a problem. I would ask the PS if there is less chance of CC in the good breast if you exchange? I am thinking because the pocket is doing well it may adjust fine...just my thoughts!

I agree with the ladies...if you are already needing to have another surgery, be put under, etc., I would definately go for larger.

Of course, I have "larger", so I'm biased. lol

That's a tough one. On one hand ya figure, if you're going under again anyway, why not change 'em both out and go bigger? On the other hand, if the left one is perfect why mess with it?
Let's see...if it were me, I'd probably leave the left one alone. That's just me. I would be thinking, If it ain't broke....

IMO ~ I say go ahead and go bigger. If you don't have cc in the one, I'd think that chances are pretty good that you won't get it there this time either.

You are a taller gal and can handle a bigger look.

Thanks to everyone with their suggestions. I am wondering now, after reading some other girls problems if maybe my PS didn't make my pocket big enough and that is why my implant didn't drop. It is the crease that is tight and caused the cc. I actually thought this a few months ago, but didn't want to blame my PS considering, I knew I would have to have another surgery. Well, he said all he has to do is take away the scar tissue and replace the implant. I do not want to go through this again. Surgery date is 3/22.

Yes you have the old boobie greed.
I had the same thing happen to me. I had CC in my lefty so I went ahead and had a complete redo and went bigger. Im happy i did cause I am lovin the size.
I have the exact same stats as you and if I can pull off these 960's trust me you can go bigger!!! LOL

like most girls said here, I would use any excuse right now to go bigger.. so if i needed a redo, i would certainely go bigger
I may actually have one, as my left is higher and never dropped as low as right - cause the pocket is higher...
in your case, the pocket was too small and created cc from what you're saying.

well, ponder whether you think you'd want your L (the good one, correct?) bigger or not
If the answer is "YES", then DO it girl, or you'll prob regret it...
your ps can always increase both pockets a bit to be on the safe side

If it's "Maybe, NOt sure I need it bigger..."
Then just let it be

but be concious that this is your "now or never" to get the size you want, WITH hindsight

i had one explanted too recently and ive already asked my ps if i could go bigger at the same time as re-implant (i had 290cc in each) he said he cant see a problem as he has got to do re-implant anyway.not sure how big to go now. im 4'11" and about 120lbs what do think girls? wouldnt mind a bit of advise
