those who've had CC twice..

Just wanted to get some advice from those of you girls who've had CC twice.

I got CC in both at 4 weeks from my first breast augmentation.

Had a capsulectomy on my Right and a capsulotomy on my Left just a month ago and now my Left is getting CC again.
Its really hard and is kinda snoopy looking

i've been so depressed and also angry about that fact that he did a capsulotomy and not a capsulectomy on my Left. But since he did not charge me for the revision i dont know if i can do anything about it..

The last time i saw my PS he said he wouldn't put my body thru another surgery even if it got worse but i feel that we should do a capsulectomy to try one more time to fix things.. cos i really dont want to lose my implants or live with one hard boob.

For those who went thru a 3rd surgery to fix CC did you have any luck?
Did your original PS recommend a 3rd surgery or did you have to find a new PS?

Hi, can I please know what the diffrence is between the capsulotomy and a capsulectomy . I was told I have to do a capsulotomy and I'm confused.. does that mean bottoming out? Thanks!

A capsulotomy is scoring of the capsule. Basicly releasing it. A capsulectomy is removing the whole capsule and allowing your body to form a new one.

I had CC 3x. The first time I had a capsulotomy. Did not work CC got worse. Then I had a capsulectomy CC came right back as well. Finally I just took the one implant out fpr 6 months to let everything heal with out all the trauma. Now it's been 5 months and my breast are soft and perfect.
Yes my PS offered all my surgeries. I used him for all.

sunshinegirl80, who was your doctor who decided to take the imlant out for 6 months?? I have read that's the only real way to get rid of CC. I have CC and am looking or a doctor that believes in this. Some doctors won't do it because it would require them to do 2 surgeries instead of one.
