I am so sorry that you're having to deal with all of this. Your attorney is correct, one Dr must testify against the other in order for you to be able to receive any satisfaction from the suit. I had a malpractice complication that left me in a coma for 6 weeks after a c section, for childbirth. Many Dr's told me what had probably happened but "the good ole boys club" would not testify against another member. My medical records were incomplete, weeks were missing, with the hospital claiming they were lost. Therefore nothing could be done.

Keep trying to find a PS that will help you put this guy out of practice, I wish you the best of luck in finding one who will help you.
Sending hugs and praying you find a good PS that will help you correct the problems you have encountered.

Oh honey i am so sorry you have to go thru this. To me, it does sound like the PS gave you symmastia, at least on that one side that crosses over. He knew it at the time of surgery, thus the tacking down the center. Your boobs are under your armpits now because he opened the pockets up laterally (on the sides) to take the pressure off the center. This complication is hard to fix and you need to have a specialist take care of you.

What you should do is send your photos to Dr. Dewire. He is extremely well known for his revisions.

From what I've read, he will let you know what he thinks and put you on the right track. Again, I'm so sorry that you have to face this. But you CAN be fixed, don't give up hope!! Best wishes!!

Unhappy 1c&c

It has been some time, I have been trying to clear my head of all that has happened to me with these surgerys. I think I am almost ready mentally to have yet another surgery. Not by the horrible surgeon who did all of this to me, I still cry when I think about all he has put me through.
I found a surgeon that does most of his work on masectomy patients and has much experience using human skin to repair damage and add support. He is confident that he can reduce the extensive rippling I now have, move the implants,(they are under my armpits now), close the pockets under my armpits, add skin all way around my breasts for support and coverage.
The Dr. that caused all of these problems has left me with about 6" of scars on each breast, this I can never get fixed. It is severe and permanant damage I must now live with. I still struggle with this fact every day, wishing I could turn back the clock and never let him touch me. None of these scars were necessary, all I wanted was a simple implant swap. One Dr. I consulted with looked at all of my records and before and after photos. He said over and over, that what the other Dr. did is so bazar he couldn't believe it.
I wonder if this bad Dr. even cares that he took away part of me, when he did what he did. Now I am so afraid to lay on that OR table and be worked on again, I've sort of lost my courage.I am so afraid now!! Any suggestions on getting courage back after trauma? I realize I cannot live with what I now have and I really need surgery.

I'm having problems finding a bra that doesn't hurt, I have ripples, I have skin sewn in, tons of scars, malpositioned implants and more. I need the best of the best now, and need feedback. I just want a little self esteem back. This has been a nightmare for me. Any help would be so appreciated
I've had alot of problems myself. This last surgery #3 that PS said I can't keep having these surgeries, so If I'm not satified with my boobs, my next decision would be to remove them for at least 3 months, let everything heal properly and then maybe try again. It's hard to think about but he's right. You and I can't keep doing this to our bodies.

If removal is not an option for you (like I hated that idea), then find a PS that does revisions soley. They are out there. You got to research and research and dont' stop till you find one. I heard Dr. Revis from Florida and another one Dr. Cohen do excellent revisions. Good Luck! We are here for you!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your horrific experience and thank you so much for sharing with us! I really hope you can find an attorney who will take action against your first doctor so that you can be somewhat compensated financially for the trauma and pain he has put you through. Sending you many hugs and hope that you find a doctor who will be able to make your current situation better so you can be happy again.

You are so brave. I wish you all the best and I truly, truly hope everything works out for you after all this trauma. I know it will be very difficult to move past all the physical and emotional scars you've endured - but my thoughts (as well as many others I'm sure) will be with you. Your story has made me realise - I am such a whinger. All I can think about is "ive gone too small" and "why don't they look how I thought they would"... From now on I will be brushing those stupid thoughts out of my head because I realise I am actually very fortunate. I'm so, so sorry for everything you've gone through and I have faith that awful doctor will get what's coming to him.
