![]() | Funny bump in implant (silicon)?
Hi ladies! So I am just over two months post-op, and starting yesterday I can feel this tiny bump on the inner side of my left breast. Think princess and the pea type thing, it appears fine but I can feel the little pea in there. If you were to run your finger along the inside of my breast, you'd feel it. If I push it, it feels like an air bubble and comes right on back. I have 300cc silicon unders.. so I'm not really sure what it is. It shouldn't be air this much after surgery should it? Any ideas? |

I don't want to speculate, because I'm really not sure what it could be. A bump always makes me nervous though, not that you need to be!! I am just an overreacter... but I definitely say get it checked out asap. I'm sure some of the other girls might have better ideas too.

I have what sounds like the same thing, mine is pea sized actually closer to bb size and hard, however it was there preop so I know it has nothing to do with my implants. Ive had breast exams and doc says everything is fine. Said it was prolly a small cyst nothing for me to worry about. so unless it changes in size or is bothersome I wont worry about it.

i think the same thing has happened to me. i could feel a hardness/ lump on the inside of my right booby and i totally freaked, so made my bf drive me 3 hours to see my PS! he said it wasnt incapsulation or anything to do with my implant. he reckons it just fibrous breast tissue that always been there, but i can only feel it now cuz my skin has been stretched sooo much! so it could be the same for you! hope that helps! xx |

I have a "bump" too, at the lower edge of my right breast. I mentioned that by the phone to my PS and he said it's probably implant's wrinkle. First, I thought it is hematoma, but now I am sure it's implant because it really feels like a bump of air.. and I do not feel it like my tissue. Should I worry if that is the bump of implant? |

I also have a lump about the size of a pea on the outer part of my breast...By the armpit. Mine was also there before my breast augmentation and my Dr just said that it's normal. COuld be like a calcium deposit? Anyways, she said it's nothing to be concerned about. So maybe this pea sized lump you are feeling was there before but you just never noticed it until now? |

![]() | Do you have saline? It could be the valve used to insert the saline soltion into the implant. EDIT: I see you have silicone.. nevermind. :-)

Hi! I have 340cc silicone overs and from a few weeks after surgery to a few months I had a little lump of scar tissue that went away evetually on its own; they called it pseudo scar tissue or something like that. Hopefully that is what it is. If not...I don't want to scare you but I have a new lump now (for the past 8 months or so) that feels like an air bubble that goes away when I push it as well...it is actually a wrinkle in my implant due to capsular contracture (cc)....after having them for over 7 years too! I don't know what cc feels like with unders since mine are overs...I am having a re-do to fix it and go up in size in 5 days. Hopefully this is not what you have, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I am 11 days post op and have a hardened area that is under my left nipple but before the bottom of my breast - like mid-way between. You can't see it but you can sure feel it. It is probably a finger length by 1/2" wide. I am guessing it is the bottom of my implant sorta folded up there? It is freaking me out but I am going on Monday to get it checked. I wouldn't think you would still have air. Maybe a small calcium deposit?

Just my update. I seen my PS yesterday. He said that what I am feeling is tissue. It's on the side where he did the lift and to keep massaging. It sure is big and hard for tissue. Hopefully it heals asap! I go back in 2 weeks to "watch" it. Hope everyone's lumps are healing/going away! |

Thanks for the update! The lump is definetly still there, but despite being super worried, I haven't gone to my PS yet. I'm in school and in the middle of midterms, and those, along with my job, make it so I'd have NO time to go see him. I have a 3 month post-op on the 24th, so a may see if I can get that moved up a week or so! Thanks for all you input ladies, and let's hope its nothing serious, and that its not the silly implant I'm feeling- I shelled out a couple extra thousand for silicone so I wouldn't have that problem!

I had mine done on MAy 1st about a month later I noticed a bump in the same place. I ask the PS ever time I see him, he tells me that it is right where they cut the muscle and I;m feeling tissue/part of the implant but that it's nothing to worry about. He says over time as scare tissue forms it will be less noticable.
