I never had it but usually the nipple will be higher on the breast unless of course your nipples were like that pre breast augmentation and it will settle lower than the other, I believe it can happen earlier post op before the pocket heals and forms a capsule and what not.

I need a pocket revision for my left that is in early stages and I have been in a sports bra 24/7 since my breast augmentation so it did not for me

My bottoming out started at about 3 1/2 months. It's not a terrible case but then again I only have 285cc implants. It sucks because it makes your boobs uneven, especially in a sports bra or a cami top. I don't think complications like this can be prevented.

I noticed it on day 1. My PS thought I was crazy, and the other breast needed to drop. Now at my 3 month PO office visit, he agreed. I'm scheduled for revision in 1 month, but I'm afraid he will mess it up again.

You actually made me think....I pretty much knew within the first few days something was wrong. My DH pointed out one looked smaller as soon as the bandages came off....it's not really smaller it's lower. It took me 3 months to admit it to myself and my PS would have been happy if I never noticed. Complications suck...we just want what we paid for...to have matching boobs!

I just had bottoming out revision today! Looks so much better now. Think I was about 2 months out. I just thought left one was dropping faster but then I noticed my nipple was too high up on the mound and my scar was riding versus falling into the crease like the right side. Had repair at 4 months. PS did not charge for revision.

I'm so nervous to get a revision. I just hear all the stories about ladies needing multiple surgeries because the repair doesn't hold well. I'm nervous about not having a mature enough pocket. Mine isn't charging either. Do you know if your PS sutured your pocket or used alloderm?

He sutured and seemed confident it will hold via stitching and scar tissue if I wear underwire 24/7 for 3 weeks. I'm wearing longer than that and not using that arm for 6 weeks just to be sure. If I doesn't hold, I'll do the alloderm. The surgery was not bad....sedation and local. I was awake and felt nothing and recovery pain is compared to breast augmentation.

point where you are safe?

Is there a point where its unlikely to happen, maybe after a year, or can it happen at anytime???
