My right breast bottomed out

I'm getting a revision Dec 17th. I'm just nervous because I feel as though he never really placed my implant on the right submuscularly. It was always the smaller breast, and it looks bigger now and more mounded. The nipple pokes out of my bra too. My PS is fixing it free of charge, but I'm still nervous he will screw it up again.

Anyone have a similar situation with one nipple poking out of their bras? I'm so upset. I can't wear push-up bras

I understand problems girl first cc of my right and now I also have to have a pocket revision for a similar problem as yours except I have to wait post 6 months so mine is not being repaired until Jan. Hope your ps does a good job for you so that you can enjoy your girls. Wishing you the very best

Yup bottomed out after first breast augmentation had revision to fix 6mos later and bottomed out yet agian so as of right NOW my nipple is popping out of my bra daily

Hi there, sorry your going through this... I had surgery 2 days after you and I bottomed out as well but my PS said I can<t have a revision until 6 moths after surgery, I was wondering how you got your PS to do it sooner....

i'm surprised he isn't making me wait 6 months also .. now i'm worried

grrrr i hate this. it seems like there is a high % that i'll bottom out again

Well all ps are different I wanted my ps to fix me right away after I found out on the 9th but he refused his words were that he does no surgery's on his patients pre 6 months unless its a emergency and then I got the how he likes to have a mature capsule talk. I have a feeling that no matter when we do our repairs it can or cannot hold. To me its more in our skin and implant weight then how long we wait. I would think your ps would not be fixing you know if he thought it would not hold. Its hard but we have to try to trust in our ps. HUGS your way

I feel your pain. I had my breast augmentation April 25, 09, and a repair for bottoming out Oct. 16, 09...I have already bottomed out again. The doctor is shocked, as I have small implants 290cc and he was sure it would hold. I wore my bra in the shower, and quickly changed in a dry one...I did everything to prevent this from happening again, but it did! I have an appointment Dec. 2 to discuss further surgery. Not sure if I will have to wait six months or not. My doctor is retiring June 2010...I am starting to freak out that I will not be totally satisfied before he goes.

I wish you well....it is a wait and see game, and not a fun time.

ok, just a quick question here...and it maybe dumb..but what do you guys mean about your nipple sticking out of your bra? as in headlights? now doesn't every woman get that? i know dumb question...but help me out here..thanks

your nipple rides up so high cause you basically lost your fold/crease that your nipple does not stay centered on your implant it pops out of the top of your bra...

Wow, that sucks! I am so sorry you are going thru this. This is supposed to be suck a happy time. Maybe he will be extra careful since he knows he is fixing your breast augmentation. I will say a prayer that all goes well for you.

When 'some' doctors seem so surprised about things happening, I think it's a good 'line'. I have proof that my complications happened to several other people, and my doctor told me that he was sooo surprised it happened to me! Right! I advise to get the statistical facts from your doctor from your doctor, even if it's in writing. For C Sake, we have to sigh everything, even when my doctor lied about what he was going to do. I didnt understand what I signed, and was sort of rushed through it telling me this is all formality!
Some doctors are better at some things than other doctors are! They are only human, but the truth would be better way to deal with it, so we could make a choice in the matter.

thanks ladies for your well wishes! i'm going tomorrow to speak to him again before the surgery date. to be honest, if he wasn't doing this revision for free, i wouldn't consider letting him do the surgery.

he said the revision has nothing to do with a capsule?? i'm pretty nervous.

I have bottomed out as well and its really embarrassing. I talked to my doctor about fixing it and he said he will do it for me for a discounted price. The total is still $5200!!! (I wanted silicone which is supposed to be pricier), but is this normal??

Also, to the girls who have experienced bottoming out twice now, what reason did the doctor give to explain that?

LOL I bottomed out twice and basically on one side only my PS said my body just stretched bad on that one side and it was an unfortante complication and since my revision did not work 100% then the best thing for me is to go smaller to help my pockets after there stitched up agian.. I go dec 16 for surgery #3 and it does cross my mind that some of my complication lies in the skill of my surgeon, but who knows I will never and I can't beat my self up about that I like my PS he has been there for me and he will get this last chance GOD FORBBID any thing goes wrong I won't be going back

I'm having my revision on the same day! I bought a Le Mystere bra after reading the great reviews about it on this forum and have found that my nipples are popping over the top too. WTH!! See what happens when you wear comfy full coverage bras!

I had a repair Oct. 16, and just had my check up Dec. 2 ...unfortunately some of it held and some of it didn't. He had to stitch up my pocket on the side, and fortunately that part held. However, it has bottomed out again on the front, but at least it is not as bad as the first time. He said if it gets any worse he will have to do surgery again in Feb., but I want it fixed whether it bottoms out anymore or not. I am not happy when I put my hands over my head....looks terrible. It is not as bad as before as my nipple is not popping out of my bra this time, so something is good.

He said if he goes back in to do further repair he will be attaching it to my ribs...does anyone know exactly what this means...why would he not have done that to start with, if he knew it would hold better. He said I would have some puckering for several months, but then it would go away and look normal. If you have had this type of surgery, or puckering, can you please share your experience with me.
