![]() | had my symmastia revision on Friday 10/6/06
I just had surgery to revise my symmastia/bread-loafing/uni-boob and bottoming out on Friday. I can't really look at it as he rolled up an ace bandage and taped it down between my breasts. I snuck a little peak and was happy to see they were staying to the sides but I did notice some dimpling where the stitches are. He has only done the repairs twice and couldn't show me pictures. I am crossing my fingers right now and hoping this is the last of my trouble. I can't take the bandages off till the 12th!!! that means no shower, only sponge bath and I have to find someone to wash my hair which is impossible with how sore I am and I have to be extra careful not to rip any of my internal sutures by flexing my muscles. I still haven't managed to find anyone that has gone through symmastia repairs recently. If anyone has gone through this please contact me. I feel so alone :-( Jen |

I don't have any of what you had but I did have CC and I just had revision surgery 2 wks ago. You're fresh out of surgery and probably not feeling the greatest but remember patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait! Sorry for the platitudes but sometimes it's true! Take care, sweetie and chin up! I'm sure someone will come along who knows what you're going thru! |

I'm a bit worried about the doctor...you had bread loafing AND bottoming out????? Unlike CC Those are both (most likely) due to Dr. error. The breadloafing can be attributed to too big or the wrong size implants? Lots of girls on the site hate it when their doctor limits their CC's but this is what they're trying to avoid. The fact he knows little about doing revisions troubles me somewhat too. In some respects it's a good sign, but it could also be indicitive of inexperience. An experienced respected PS needs to know revisions because they fix OTHER doctors mistakes! I be nervous too if I were you! Hopin for the best! |

Jen, I'm sorry I'm so late replying to this thread. How are you feeling now, have you seen your results yet? Did your PS recommend that you wear a thong bra or something else to apply pressure to your sternum? http://www.justbreastimplants.com/gallery/thong_bra.htm Please let us know how you are doing. |
