![]() | I am making progress- Scar tissue breakup/dropping
Hey girls, I thought I would share my progress report with you. For 2 weeks I have been taking 1200 IU of natural Vitamin E. Also, I have been using heat with my massage (hot tub, shower, heat pack). For the past week I have incorporated my back massager (http://www.epinions.com/HoMedics_Per...A_2H_Massagers) into my massage. My reasoning behind this is that sometimes ultrasound is used to help break up scar tissue. Using the massager helps me replicate that. I put a heat pack on my breast for a few minutes first and then go to town with the massager- using a lot of pressure and focusing on the areas where I can feel the scar tissue. This is great because I don't have the hand strength to do what the PS wants me to do as often as I should. They told me to use a lot of force. Yesterday I had a breakthough- my lefty was all of a sudden quite soft. Today I have been wearing my strap just over the left (under the right) with no bra and my lefty is actually moving down! It is really amazing that this hard work seems to be paying off. So... I thought I would let everyone know what I am doing and hope it helps someone. |

Maybe this is why my ps had me putting so much pressure on mine. I almost died when he 1st did it. I had my husband do it.I thought it was going to blow out the bottom. It did feel good though.Seemed to relese the pressure. He literally had my DH put both hands on my chest like you were doing a heart palpitation and push the implant down and squish it. It hurt and felt good at the same time. Then i did the bra thing. I have the champion no seam bras. I kinda put it on and lift it up on top of the boob and put on a robe and walk around like that.I think it helped me drop more. Good luck... Break that boy up... I am routing for you.. Anne

I just logged on to see if I could find a post to help me out...I don't have CC, but the explanted side has scar tissue built up just under my crease incision. PS said it was "still rigid". I don't want to go into my redo with it that way, so I was wondering if anyone had some tips to break up scar tissue. AND YOU DID! Mine is a small area, easy to begin vigorously massaging, etc. I don't have your cool massager, but I will begin applying some heat along with massaging. Thanks so much for sharing your journey...you are helping and encouraging us with your "go get em" attitude and helpful tips. Bravo, lady. | |

That's exciting that you're making progress! I don't have CC (knock on wood) but I have noticed that my lefty is now dropping a lot slower. Maybe using heat or a massager will help, since my hands do get tired from all that massaging I'm supposed to be doing

![]() | so glad
I'm so glad I found this thread, because today my (new) PS told me that the reason Lefty felt firmer was because she had developed a small amount of scar tissue, and he told me to massage as well as the compression to break it up. Thanks for the tips, I will try them!!!
