![]() | Problem with arm...anyone else??
I had my breast augmentation on 3-1-07. They were put in under my arm. Since then it has been painfull to stretch my arms out. My left arm now has something like a tendon or something that is very tight and you can feel it very well through my skin. It starts under my arm, goes down he inside of my arm, curves around the side of the bend of my arm and stops right about in the middle part of the lower half of my arm. It started just under my arm and keeps getting longer, with now being more then halfway down my arm. It does not hurt unless I try and stretch my arm out and then I just feel a lot of pulling and tightening. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of anything like it?

i had armpit too- it was very tight to move at first. I really tried not to do too much- maybe you overdid it and pulled something? I would ask your ps to make sure it is nothing and see what you can do to help it go away. good luck

My breast augmentation was transax aswell. And I felt exactly the same in both my arms. It got better over time. Right now I only feel it while sleeping since i bend the elbow and put the hand under my head (i sleep on my side) so depending how high my elbow is it pulls at the tendon you are refering to. My sister had this happen also. It fades out in time, so do not worry

Well the problem is that it is not just a feeling. I can actually feel what feels like a small rope under my skin, which I am guessing is actually a tendon. Today on the lower part of my arm like right between my wrist and my elbow it is just slightly pink and is now swollen. You can feel the tendon under my skin all he way down my arm. It even hurts just to dangle my arm by my side normaly like when I am walking or watever. It is not like this on the other side. I expect to feel tightening but not to feel the whole tendon all down my arm and now with my skin swelling and turning pink I am really starting to get concerned. My doctor is out of the office this week but I think I am going to call anyway. You think there could maybe be an infection or something?
