![]() | Mondors Cord again!!
It has been almost 2 years since I had my breast augmentation and after my surgery I had a Mondors Cord. A couple of days ago they showed up again under the same breast. Is this normal? LOL Joyce |

Hey Joyce, Good to see you. I think it's possible but not common, IMO. Have you called your PS? Could you have pulled your pectoral muscle? Have you done anything that was too strenuous, like moving furniture by yourself? |

I do hope your husband will be ok, Joyce. I know you must be under a lot of stress worrying about and taking care of him. Mondors cord is basically inflammation of a blood vessel. So you usually see it soon after surgery. I don't know that I have ever heard of having it this far post-op, although I am sure it is possible. If you can't find the time to see your PS, I would suggest that you at least call them and see what they think. Wow, you are already almost 2 years post-op? Where does the time go? |

Just wanted to let everyone know that my ps's office just called and said that there really isn't anything they can do right now. Told me to watch it for a month or two and let them know if it doesn't go away. PS said that he doesn't usually see Mondors Cord except a few days after surgery not this late down the road. I guess I will just keep an eye on it and hope it goes away. | |

Hey joyce How's your husband doing now? I hope he's recovering okay. Weird about your mondor's cord recurring after all this time. Nice to see you anyway. |

![]() | Thanks a bunch for asking, he is doing as well as can be expected. BORED out of his mind. He is able to drive my truck ( it's an automatic) a little, just to get out of the house some. He went to the bank and the CPA's office to pick up our taxes yesterday. He was a little sore afterwards. He goes back to the dr Thursday hope he gets good news. Yeah it is kinda crazy that those things are back. Don't know really what to do. PS just says to wait it out for a month or two and see if they go away. If not I will be calling him back.
