My story too is similar to most and will be long i'm sure, but i hope you enjoy

I had to fly to Baltimore to get mine done because I live overseas. It was nice because i went with a girlfriend and my sister met me there. We got to do some shopping and visited DC. It was great to keep my mind off of the BA.

Monday I went in to meet my PS for the first time and try on implants. From that point i was still unsure about size and type. My PS was OK. I felt that if I was in the states and had the chance to interview docs I would have chosen someone else (or just driven the extra couple hours to dr. cummings)..but that's besides the point. I tried on the 375 silicone implants which i thought looked a little big, but made me giddy. I tried on 550s for fun too! I could have carried a boob that big which should have been my clue to go bigger, but i'm still happy.

So Friday i get to the hospital first thing. I had to be there at 7:30 and my surgery was scheduled for 8:45. Everything went smoothly. I signed papers then went into a room to change out of my clothes. I was on my last day of my period so i got to wear the weird panties with a HUGE pad. I had to get my ear taped up because i have a peircing that i couldn't take out. The anesesiologist came in and talked to me. He was really cool. We chatted it up for a bit, then they wheeled me into the surgery room. I wear glasses and put them in my bag of stuff. Then nurse said if she would have known she would have let me wear them. So i'm in a room full of blurry people and my PS is there. I'm in a good mood and so is everyone else. I lay down on the T table and people are touching me from everywhere. People at my legs putting warmers and blankets on. Someone at my arms pulling me down and making sure my IVs are right. I feel the burn from my cocktail go up my arm and i tell them "Oooo that burns a little" I remember the anesesiologist say "yeah it does a little" and the next thing i know i'm waking up searching for my new boobs...grab them...smile...and basically pass out again.

I felt like i was in pain pretty bad for the first couple of days. I remember people on here posting the day after - so i was thinking this was a breeze. There was NO WAY i could post if i wanted to at least for three days. It's getting better as the days go by, but i could barely move that much. I felt like i was in a muscle competition and flexing my pecs at everyone. It still feels like that. My hubby had to push my back so i could get up out of bed. And since i was in a hotel it probably didn't help the recovering.

I went back the next tuesday to get my drain and pain pump pulled. That was the MOST pain that I felt. The doc was ripping my tape of along with layers of skin it felt like. The doc basically beat my boobs down showing me how to massage and i realized how durable they really are. The pump hurt as he pulled the miles of string out of me. Then came then drain.

Maybe because I waited so many days - i had a lot of blood so i had to wait longer - but the SH* hurt SOOO bad i actually cried like a baby as he did it and the nurse felt bad because she still had her side to pull. My DH said he almost puked watching it because blood squirt out first...then literally they pull over 2 feet of tube from my body!

I'm back home now and happy. I hate the strap, but will wear so my boobs will go down. I can't wait until my body is back to normal and i have no aches or strains to move. Thanks for reading
