Well I got up at about 630 this morning. My surgery was scheduled for 1030 am and I had to be there at 9. First off I finished my laundry and kept busy till it was time to go with little nerves. For the record I slept great last night, not nerveous at all. Then at about 845 we left for the surgery center. I got there and got all registered and then they took me back to change into my garb. Once I got situated on a gurney they started fluids and an antibiotic. Then the PS and anest. came in to chat with me. Finally they put on compression socks and the surgical hat. Then they wheeled me down the hall, that is when the nerves kicked in. They laid me out on the table and administed the magic potion. When I woke up I was still kinda out of it. I could hear the nurse keep saying "keep your legs down". Guess I was giving them all a free show

Well then I started to wake up more and the pain was horendous. They gave me 2 perks and some IV meds. At this point they wheeled me to the next recovery room to see my OH on the way I started crying and stating that I wished I had never done it as I could hardly tolerate the pain. The nurse said it would get better when the meds kicked in. I got home around 2 and have been laying around ever since. Two different people made me dinner for tonight so I should be set for the weekend. I am taking my pain meds and icing religiously so that is making the pain tolerable, but yes it is still painful especially with movement. I look like Dolly Parton, hopefully the get smaller soon, but not too small

Kids are a little fussy, and I am about ready to get out of the room as I am getting frustrated that I am helpless to them. Anyway I think I am going to head up to bed soon. sorry of typos I am a little dopey if you know what I mean.

I'm sorry for your pain, it'll all be worth it in the end. Take your pain meds religiously until everything is tolerable. Rest and rest, and did I mention rest? Congrats and post on your progress when you feel better.

Sorry you're in pain! Stay on top of the meds, try ice packs over the girls (I got some nice gel ones from my PS) and rest, rest, rest! Thanks for sharing your story. Speedy healing!!

Hope the pain goes away soon and take your meds on time and everything will be fine. Go to your room away from everyone and watch a dvd or something to distract you. Good Luck

Congratulations! Get plenty of rest

and even if you feel better remember to take it easy.

The pain will be a distant memory when you finally have the boobs you've always wanted! (You'll forget the pain of surgery just like you forgot the pain of childbirth)
