Wow. I can't believe that I actually went through with it. There were all these things that happened prior to my surgery that made me question it. First off, my PS office changed my surgery time 4 times within the week prior to my surgery. And secondly, when my bf was getting ready to take me to the surgery center, he was backing up my truck and hit my car. My bf NEVER gets in accidents. He operates heavy machinery for a living...so needless to say, he is a great driver.

Anyways, I finally make it to the surgery center (in one piece). They call me in, and do the whole 20 questions thing about my prior health history. The pre op nurse starts the IV in my hand, and puts some antibiotics in it. Thats when my ps came in and talked to me and my bf one last time. I could tell he knew exactly what I wanted. He drew a quick few lines on me and then bs'ed with my bf for a bit. Then the anesthesiologist came in, and talked to me about being under general anesthesia. He told me that he was going to put some anti-nausea medicine in the IV to help me post of. He then gave me some medicine to relax me. Next thing I knew I was in the operating room with a really cool OR nurse and a cool tech. They were listening to Johnie (sp?) Cash, and asked if I liked him. I said, "Of course! Who doesn't?" The next thing I know I'm out.

I then wake up in the recovery area. The nurse asked how I was doing, and I said my left boob hurts more than my right one. So she gave me some liquid percoset (sp?). I kept asking for my bf, and they said, "It was too crowded back here to have him in here..." That made me pretty mad. But before I knew it, he was with me, and we were getting ready to come home. Once we got home, I slept for almost a day straight. The ps gave me sleeping pills for the night time, but they didnt help too much. Thank goodness for the vicoden. That helped me through the night a lot. However, it wasnt doing much for the pain. So my ps called in a prescription for perkoset (sp?). I took one of those, and it just made me sick! So, two days later...I'm doing great. I just got my hair done today, so I'm pretty stoked. I feel great, and can't wait to show the twins off!!!
