Boobs!
My BA was Thursday morning. As with everyone else, I filled out some paperwork, changed into my little wrap around towel/robe and got pictures taken.
The anesthesiologist came in and started my IV eventually (i have small veins). He gave me some stuff to relax me, and back I went. They were strapping me onto the table and put monitors on me. Last thing I remember is them putting an oxygen mask on me. When I woke up, I was in pain! I kept asking for pain medication but they said I couldn't have anymore until I got home. As soon as I got home, I took 2 pain pills and was OUT. Sitting up was a struggle and hurt really badly. The first day was painful, but I stayed on top of the pain meds and valium. It has gotten much easier. Since my incision was transax, my arms are more sore than most people's. My back also really hurts (it's hard to stand straight). Although it is painful, it is wonderful to look down and see boobs! I can't wait to see the end result. Edit: post-op went well--Hedden said they looked great but high (I got 350 ft375)

sounds exactly like my story.... did he say they'd drop soon? i did not see hedden for post op i saw jack, he just barely looked at me and said come back in 2-3 weeks. when is your next appt.? i kind of want to go in sooner! check my incisions! i want theses babies to DROP! congrats by the way.... we have boobies!

Hey, if you don't have a heating pad (which may help on your back), a trick I learned is to heat up some water and put it in a water bottle, then wrap it with a thin towel and apply to the achy muscle (just not the breasts). I do this ALL the time for cramps and it works like a dream. Just a thought. Good to see you're doing well.
