1 month to go!!!

I will update after surgery but figured I'd put up my "before" story

I'm 26 years old, hispanic, from Chicago. No kids yet, just a cat! and a great guy in my life.

I've been flat chested all my life. I think I'm a 36A but it might be less, I basically live without a bra, except when I need to wear one for work and going out, and usually those are super duper padded, at least a couple of inches of padding.

I'm so tired of looking like a little girl and not being able to wear cute low cut tops and such. I actually once duct taped my boobs for cleavage - boy was that the BIGGEST mistake ever!!! the tape bonded with my skin and when I was removing the tape some of my skin came off with it

I finally decided to get implants this year after going back and forth a couple of years on it. I had my consult in August with Dr. Peter Geldner in Chicago. He was the only surgeon I consulted with and was so comfortable with him at the consult that I booked my surgery right away. And while I was there, I decided some lipo wouldn't hurt either! So since the beginning of summer I've been running to lose some weight (have lost about 10-13lbs) so my lipo results come out better.

I know I could lose the weight and have a flat stomach if I keep working out crazy hard core, but I work alot and just dont have the time to get the body into the shape I want. It will be easier to maintain once I have it, but to get there on my own is very hard. I used to be a size 5/6 when I was younger (19, 20 but it was kinda gross, I used to be able to see my ribs, and still had a belly even being that thin!), but after going on DepoProvera I gained a lot of weight and its barely starting to come off.

Some people assume that I'm getting implants and lipo because I have low self esteem or can't date or whatnot, but that's not the case at all! I'm probably too over confident hahahaha and not really shy about my body nor have issues getting guys to date me or otherwise (wink wink). I have a huge mirror on my vanity in my bedroom that is as wide as the length of my bed that comes in handy for the bedroom activities. Anyone ever seen "American Psycho" and the bedroom scene? that's kinda how I am when it comes to those activites. Probably

but I'm a pretty open person!

There's a saying in spanish, that I like to use when I talk about my boobs - Chiquitas pero Picosas which basically means, Little but Spicy!

Though not for long....

So 1 month to go!!! I've already begun taking my vitamins and buying lots of sports bras that hook in the front and compression garments for the lipo. I'm super excited and can't wait to see how they come out!

Hi! Good luck with your surgery! I wish i was able to get lipo to that would of been awesome! but i was only able to afford my implants. Maybe in the near future i can get the lipo. So your from chicago! I was born and raised in chicago! I hope everything goes well for you!

Hi Ladies!
I just had my pre-op appointment on 12/6 and surgery is on 12/21.

I was debating on size as seen below in my siggy (which I should update!!!)

It turns out my BWD is 16!!! so i can pretty much hold just about any size implant in the style 15 inamed. I decided with the 533cc which should put me around a DD. Pretty big difference seeing as I am an A or AA right now!!!

My dr took pictures and went over final details with me. He said for the liposuction, he does the pubic mound as well (so no ken doll!) at no extra cost. whooo hooo!!!

The nurse who helped with my pre-op was very impressed that I had done all my homework (thanks to the ladies here at JBI and over at MMH!!) regarding compression garments, vitamins, massaging, implant size etc etc.

I don't have to massage if I don't want to (I'm getting unders). They said if it feels good, massage, but its not necessary.

No wire bras for several weeks.

Compression garments stay on for 4-6 weeks, 12/7 after the Stage 1 (which i will wear for 2 weeks 24/7).

And they will put me in a Veronique stage 1 after surgery (I bought an addtl Rainey Stage 1 and a Rainey Stage 2).

So the day is almost here!!!

Very exciting! At your height, you should definitely be a good size after your BA! It's a whole new world... congrats!

good luck. i too live in chicago and your doctor is one that i am considering so it's nice to near that so far your dealings with him have been well. i hope your surgery/recovery is great too.
