Diana's booby adventure 1/18/2008

Hey guys!!!

So here I am!!! I had my surgery just this morning, pretty much like 4 hours ago, lol. I am on medication so sorry for some typos. So my day started out at 4:30am, woke up, showered, got dressed and hit the road. My PS is only like 10 minutes from my house, so that was pretty convenient. I got to the office around 6:00am and only my nurse was there. I wasn't even nervous yet, nothing, I was thinking maybe when I get called back it would hit me.

Well, 6:30 rolled by and still no one had showed up, I was sitting watching TV so I wasn't freaking out or anything. The nurse called the anesthesiologist and the doctor to see where they were at around 6:45. Sure enough there's a huge accident on the one road that takes you to the office, we had just missed it. I didn't let it stress me out or anything, I didn't really care what time they started, I was the first surgery of the day and that's all I really cared about, lol. So 7:15 rolls by and the nurse calls me to the back to change, I kind of got excited that things were underway. I sat in the room for a while reading a magazine after my pregnancy test. At about 7:35 the anesthesiologist came in to talk to me, sweetest guy ever. He was followed right by the doctor that marked me up. I asked him what size he thought would look best and he said 450-500 and that he'll figure it out when he puts the sizers in. We also decided on moderate profile plus because he said I don't have that much projection, and it would give me just the right amount of side boob . Well 5 minutes later, into the OR I go. I kissed my hubby and mommy goodbye and in i went.

There were these huge lights beaming down on me, I felt like I was in a movie. The anesthesiologist started me IV and I could feel myself getting dizzy. Next came the gas mask and that's all I remember, lol.

I remember waking up with a tightness in my chest, i opened my eyes and quickly looked under the covers. WOW I had boobies!!! He hadn't put on the dressings yet so I could see them. They were everything I could ask for. I woke up with a smile on my face and not that much pain. Doc told me I was his best patient because he'd never seen someone come out of surgery so happy. The nurse put me in my booby gear, which hurt a little and home I went. The pain got worse by the time I got home and there was a good hour in there somewhere where every move hurt. I'm ok now though, and I can't staring at them in the booby bra. My whole family can't believe I had surgery today, they said I looked perfectly fine.

So, I ended up with 450 Silicone, unders, moderate plus. i feel as close to great as possible. I can't wait to see them again when they've healed a little. Thanks to the ladies of JBI for all your help!!!

Oh one more thing, I was out of there by 9:20 and my whole surgery took about half an hour

thanks guys, I was so scared that I would have a rough recovery and i am so thankful that it's going this well!!! Hopefully tomorrow is just as good. It's funny cause I took the bra off for a second and they're HUGE, they're a lot more swollen than they were right after the surgery, I guess that's to be expected though

Yeah, I was actually quite amazed. I mean I had some discomfort, but it was nothing too terrible. I'm going to add to my first post with daily updates so people have a better idea of what it's like. Thanks for all the support!!!

Day 2- Alright, so I can't say I got the best nights sleep last night, I'm a side sleeper, sometimes tummy, so the whole sleeping on my back thing was not happening. I slept better than i expected though for someone who has literally never slept on their back. I woke up twice, once at around 1:45 and once at about 5:15 and that's probably because my pain meds had work off.

I stopped taking percocet last night, I know it was my first day but i'm really not a huge pill person. The discomfort is a little more since I switched to extra strength tylenol at about 6pm last night. I was going to take a percocet in the middle of the night but then decided to tough it out. So that's how that went.

Last night I also managed to have a normal BM. Day one and I did it, no constipation no nothing. I think the trick is to start that stool softener form Day one, not to wait until you're pretty much in pain. I only took one with my second percocet because I HATE being constipated. I only took 2 percocets all day before switching to tylenol, so maybe that's why i had a BM so fast.

As for the girls, although sore, I can already tell that the swelling is going down. Yesterday they were so pressed together, kind of like they were trying to kill each other, lol. Today the gap subsided a bit so it's looking like a nice cleavage line. I'm allowed to shower today, which is going to feel great because this bra is making me itch like crazy.

I'll be sure to post pictures later today to show you guys what they're like after day one. They're not incredibly high, just somewhat swollen. Hope this helps, and once again, thanks ladies for all your support!
