Today is begining of a whole new me... and it took me a long time to get here but I couldn't be happier.
I have an 8 year old but it wasn't till I had my 3 year old that I began thinking about restoring my body from childbirth. I started having children at a young age so it really took a toll on me, but I knew that if I did something now about I would be able to enjoy the long term benfits.
My fiance and I have been together for over 8 years we just never got around to tieing the knot because we wanted to have our degree's first so with an upcoming wedding in april I wanted have more self confidence and a jump start into a new marriage with a great man.
Pre-op

Went in and meet with the boobie man! Board certified over 25 years experience, author of many medical books and part of so many organizations I was very comfortable with having him as my doctor and boy did he live up to his name. A nurse that day took my blood work, had me take a pregnancy test, and took some of the before shots.oh and the paperwork...there was so much to sign. My fiance was with me and I could tell how excited he was when I tried on the sizers. We decided on getting the 275 over filled to 325.
Day of surgery

To make a long story short I was not nervous the whole time until speradic events happend that threw me off my pre- planned schedule. First last week they told me I was going in at 7:30am so I had everything prepared and I knew me and my fiance would be back in time to pick up our little ones from school. Well it ended up that they confirmed with me the night before surgery to tell me I had to be there at three, so we worked out and arrangment with the kids that afternoon and off we went. Traffic was horrible and all I could think about was eating, which my doctor instructed me nothing after 12am it was now 2pm. We got so lost getting to the hospital, we ended up at another location that was named the same on the other side of town, at this point I was getting more nervous and by the time we found it I was already 1 hour late. Two nurses came in and I had to take another urine sample for pregnancy...negative yay! for now the factory is closed. The nurse had to re insert the iv about 3 times, that was the worst part of the whole thing I think. Anyway, I head of to go speak with the anestigiologist who was trying to make some jokes but overall the staff was comforting. Except for one nurse, good thing I was a little loopy.. All the other nurses were telling that everything was going to be fine etc... but this one nurse said "this is the choice you made so why are you so nervous?" I could not believe she said that but I was so high and sluring that i couldn't of got anything out if I had to.
They proceeded to take me to the or where I was still awake and all I could remember was that they asked me to breathe into a mask. and then I woke up. No pain at all yay! Just tightness and a little sore
but for the most part I even brushed my own hair this morning and changed my clothes. My fiance has helped me a lot... the night I was released we got home and he made me chicken soup and then woke up at 4am to help me go to the bathroom. He has been awesome.
Post op
Went to the doctors office today they took off the bandages. How purty! They look really good hardly swollen, wondering if all the papaya juice helped? Incision is through the areola so in a week I can go back and take them out. I only took one dose of the oxycodone but I really don't think I need it. After the appointment I even stopped at target to get a sports bra because after they took the dressings out I felt kind of bare right now I am a size 34 d but when the swelling goes down maybe I will be a c. We made a pit stop at jamba juice for a fruit smoothie after that. But overall I am extremly happy with the results and would do it again in a heartbeat.
