My long due story...

Hi guys, I know I am due for my story and wanted to appologize for it.

My story is very similar to most of yours , I went to the PS center, the nurse took my urine sample, asked me to change into a robe, slippers and head cap, put me an IV then the PS marked me and we talk about sizes for the last time to make sure we were in agreement. Then they took me to the OR room and the last thing I remember was talking to the anesthesiologist about how many kids I have... woke up 2 hrs later, thank God no vomiting or too much pain and went back home..so far so good and I am very happy with my new tata's...

But the main reason why I wanted to post this was for the following:

I don't know if you guys felt the same way, but I didn't realize how much I was needing a BA till I took a good look at my before and after pics together. I cried like a baby out of happiness and sadness for having waited so long to do this. Money wasn't an issue, it was my fear of the pain after surgery and its possible complications plus the stereotype females who have BA get from those who don't understand the reasons why a woman will want this type of surgery the ones holding me back big time, till I found JBI.

The information on this site gave me the medical knowledge needed to make a well informed decision but reading the members experiences helped me out to overcome my fears do it.

I want to thanks Nikki enormously for her magnificent site full of valuable information about BA but most of all; thanks to all of you, for sharing your experiences (and pics) and for your kind words of advice, support and comfort that has help to make my recovery less stressful and have lifted my confidence that I should not feel guilty or ashamed for my decision of having a BA. You guys are GREAT! JBI its great!

Thanks to all of you, from the bottom of my heart!

I was just wanting to say that I read EVERYONE'S story that I could before my BA so I would be totally prepared. Now, after having mine, I read the BA stories to learn about the wonderful women on this site. I find that EVERY story is special even though similar. Thank you for sharing your experience as I too found JBI to be the most helpful, real site I have ever visited. Now I'm addicted and visit it several times a day every single day. It is one of the buttons on my yahoo toolbar. I love JBI and the women who join. We are a community of women wanting the same thing and understanding each other when others don't and criticize instead.

Aracelis,

What you said, totally sums-up my feelings!! I have my 1st consult a week from this coming Thursday and have probably felt every emotion that you could right now--excitement, curiosity, fear, confusion, etc. (and wow, I haven't even scheduled the surgery yet). But you said it when you mentioned how great this forum is.

In another post, can't quite remember where, I had mentioned how GREAT you look! You're boobs look FABULOUS, and with the exception of me being about an inch taller our measurements are the same. I would totally be excited if, like Maya, I could show your pic to my PS on my consult. Again, you should be so excited about how great you look and very proud!!
