My boobie story... i love my new boobies!!
Before I begin, I want to thank of you ladies out there who have shared your story on this forum. I've been too caught up lately to have thanked each one of you guys individually. Hopefully my story will be of some help as well.
The week before the surgery The 7 days before my surgery, i had a rollarcoaster of emotions. "Am i doing the right thing?" "I can't believe i am doing this...etc" "I can't wait to finally go through it!" etc.... Sometimes i doubted myself...other times I just wanted it to be over with already. The day of the surgery I arrived at the surgery center, changed into a surgical gown, and peed into a cup. They gave me some IV fluids to help me relax while my fiance held my other hand. During this time I really started to regret my decision--the prospect of having them replaced once every ten years, the fact that I will be cut open, etc. If it wasn't for the fact that i had paid for the surgery already, I probably would have walked out right then and there. I kept on asking my fiance if he thought I was crazy for signing myself up for surgery just to have bigger/prettier boobs (of course, he reassured me that i was perfectly normal and that it's normal to want to have better boobs). My doctor arrived, drew on me, and they started wheeling me out to the OR. I kissed my fiance goodbye and that was the last thing I remembered. Before I know it, I opened my eyes and they were lifting me up into a sitting position. I looked down and saw these two beautiful perky boobies and I was sooooo happy. "They're beautiful!!!" I exclaimed. I looked at my sugeron and said, "thank you." Yep, i was probably very out of it...but i was so happy!! One of the other nurses responded, "she's complimenting the surgeon already!" They wrapped up my new breasts in bandages and i slipped out of consciousness once more. The next time I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room with the strongest feeling of nausea ever. "Oh no! I'm going to hurl!" I said and immediately started to dry heave. They pipped in some anti nausea meds into the IV and I was much better after that. They wheeled me to the car and gave my fiance instructions on how to take care of me for the rest of the day. Once i got home I slept, ate, and vomited throughout the rest of the day and night. The first day was the hardest. The next few days I was able to eat w/out vomiting the second day. My chest swelled up A LOT as well. "Oh crap, I went too big!!" was the only thing ringing through my mind. The hardest thing was not being able to manuver my underwear and clothes in order to go pee. My fiance literally had to pull down my panty for me, and pull them up after i was done. Somehow, I managed to go by myself before the second day ended. The third day was much better. I was able to use my arms again, and felt a lot more like myself. By day 5, 80% of the swelling was gone, and I was already comfortable driving a car and shopping by myself. I have no regrets!! These new boobs are great and I feel like it's best thing I've ever done for myself. The ResultsI went from a 34B/C to a 34DD (but looks more like a small D) with saline moderate plus 500cc. I really like the size right now and hope that they don't shrink anymore. To ladies questioning how many cc's to get...don't hesitate to go a little larger than what you're comfortable with. After the surgery they will HUGE, but once the swelling goes down they'll turn out just right. I'm so happy to be in boobieville!! -Kathy 5'4, 120 lbs. Pre-BA: 34B+ Post BA: 34DD |

Aww..thank you all for the warm hearted wishes!
I honestly don't know what I'd do without you ladies here at JBI. Nikki, yes I believe that is perfectly normal. I'm on day 10 right now and still a little bit swollen. My surgeon said it takes about 2-3 weeks before the swelling totally goes away. I wish you a speedy and happy recovery! |

Thanks for sharing your story! I have a few weeks to go yet but I'm already on the rollercoaster you described....kind of in one of the low points right now wondering if I am as crazy as I think I am! That should change, probably by morning.
![]() Best wishes for a continued healthy recovery!! |
