my girls have arrived safely

I am going to edit this post a little later when I feel less dopey, but heres the short story

quick boobie update

I'm feeling the affects of valium and percocet.. so excuse spelling

went in yesterday.. woke up excited, got nervous as soon as I got there. I talked to my awesome sweet nurse and told her I was worried that I would be too small... she promised me that she would make sure that didnt happen

They get me in the operating room and I was kinda tearing up. It was freaky. They put these socks with a vacuum cleaner like thing on them and they blow up, then go down. It was kinda funny.. The anesthesiolgist gave me a shot and immediatly my eye were doing funny things. I closed them and my chest felt so heavy. They told me to go to a place I wanted to be and that was that.

I woke up and was in major pain. And confused. I told the nurse I needed to finish emailing someone on myspace. yeah. weird. She gave me demorol through my iv and immediatly my eyes were rolling back in my head and she said I was out in less than a minute. When I woke up however.. I was SICK. And barfing hurts. They gave me anti nausea meds in the iv and they didnt help.. still yakking.

Getting home was a bear. I have never been in so much pain in my whole freaking life (not trying to scare anyone). Plus I was thirsty and it just made me throw up. FINALLY came time for percocet. I want to marry that stuff. It helped me get some sleep and it was a fairly comfortable sleep. It only last an hour and a hlaf, but it was wonderful. Then came time for valium so I dont have rocks on my chest.. that makes me sick as well apparently!@!!

My mom got ahold of my surgeon and he called in a prescription of pherngan or something like that. I take it and THEN I get a call saying that it is related to compazine.. and I am VERY allergic to it. I was paranoid but I didnt react and it worked!!!

Last night,. I slept real good with the percocet and this morning my valium didnt make me sick (so maybe it was the anethesia still) so I'm hoping that the muscles chill out so I can sit up a little straighter

On the actual boobie front... He put 500ccs in each breast. He said I may end up a baby D but I had told him that I rather be a baby d than a baby c... whith full c as our goal. They are mentor mod profiles. I had thought from him talking about projection that he would have went with a mod plus or a high profile but I trust him so I know he did what he thought would look the best. I have drains and Im not sure when they come out... I go in for my post op on saturday morning

I think thats everything for now.. So far today, I am feeling pretty good. The pain is MUCH MUCH more bareable. and I can actually walk around a bit (to get to the computer and stuff) without every step feeling like I was punched in the chest!

Glad to hear you are doing ok. I am so sorry you got so sick. It is so weird because it seems like either people get hugely sick, or not at all (like me). Hopefully you are done throwing.......and I am sure you are going to look amazing. Post when you can, and I hope you have a great day and quick recovery!

I'm so glad to hear that you're at home and you have gotten your Girls.

I'm sorry to hear that you woke up in pain and were sick though... That stinks. But it sounds like you are on the up!! I can't wait to hear how you progress.

Good job!!

Gosh I am sorry that you were in so much pain and that you got so sick! If it makes you feel better I had a rough first day too. It was a day of anxiety attacks and DH calling the PS a hundred times and trying different meds! The phenegren is nice because it stops you from being sick and helps you sleep. It makes me really drowsy so I hope that helps you. Remember that you are one step closer to a full recovery each day! Congrats!

Agreed with everyone else about how sorry I am that you are feeling ill, it's not a very nice feeling ey?

Well - just keep thinking about how sexy you are going to look when it's all completed! It will be worth it!

Congratulations! 500cc mod profiles are gonna give you KILLER cleavage! And I'm glad you came out of that scary post-op period in one piece. I woulda been paranoid about the Phenergan too! Happy healing and thanks for sharing!

thanks everyone. I gotta admit I was freaked out last night cause everyone tells you that day 2 is the worse but thank goodness for me that hasnt been the case. My right side is tender when I walk and stuff but not bad at all. My lefty is hurting a lot more but I think its the side that he said would be more work. I kmnow drain wise, I'm getting double the blood out of that side (it was 25 out of right and 50 out of left a few minutes ago)

Still, the meds are knocking me out, I'm getting a lot of good sleep and the pain is very bareable still
