Well, I made it back and I amazingly, feel great

I just hope I feel this good tommorrow.

I went in to the office at 11:15 am and went back fairly quickly. I knew what to expect since I did it 7 months ago. It was funny cuz my Nurse anesth. came in to get my i.v. ready and had trouble with a vein, she ended up getting blood everywhere, it didn't hurt, but it was soooo funny for some reason. She finally got it in the other arm with no blood, yay

I immediately got the shakes, which I always do, very odd. My ps gave me a nice thick bath robe to get me warm, but I still had the shakes. I then went into the OR and they prepped me, then I was out like a light, sooo fast this time. The last thing I remembered was my ps saying, "positive thoughts" and the oxygen mask. I woke up to my dh and ds waiting for me in the room, I felt very groggy and my mougth was very dry. No real pain, just pressure. I do have a bit of pain on my right side by my armpit, whihc is where I have the internal sutures due to the axillary iimplant, so it's hard to move my right arm. My ps came in but I honestly don't remembr what he said

I believe I got 350 f/t 425. I'm happy wiht that (my dh was worried about me being too big anyway) I'll find out the exact size amout later.

Anyway, that's my dull story. I'm just sooo relieved it's over and I really do feel great. I haven't slept at all sinc eI got home, which was about 2:45 today. Ii'm starving tho, waitig for dh to come home with some food. I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing and how thee new girls look when I unveil them on Thursday.

Thanks so much to you wonderful ladies here. I couldn't have done either of these surgeries without you all.

Oh, I forgot to add.......When I got to the office, there was a man waiting on his sister, well, he was out like a light, and was snoring like you would not believe. I was dying laughing inside, I just didn't have the heart to wake him. Just thought I'd add that bit of funny

Congratulations!!! You must not be the squeamish type if you were laughing at your blood squirting all over the place. lol. I'm glad you had an otherwise uneventful re-do. Happy healing!!

So glad your redo went well. I would love to hear how you come along with pain and what not. I am going in on 3/11 for that same repair. Good luck with everything.

hey, glad you had an uneventful surgery! sounds like you're doing great too (seems common for redo surgeries).....can't wait to hear what size you'll be now
