I am officially apart of the awsome boob society
So we got to the doctors office around 6:50 am. I kissed hubby good bye and the nurse brought me to the observation room. She had me change out of my clothes into a hospital down, I got to keep on my awesome socks and undies.
My PA came in around 7:30 and started drawing on me and going over everyting. After he left I was then brought to the OR around 8am. She gave me some pills and had me lay down to put in my IV. She asked my about my trip to Florida and told me to think of the warm beach and the beautiful swimsuit. I tried fighting the sedation ( I didn't use general, didn't want it) and the next thing I remember was being out. I would open my eyes a few times during surgery to moan and make noises, the amazing nurse came over and rubbed my face and telling me they were just putting in the implants and I was feeling pressure. I went out again but briefly remember them putting on the bandages and I heard them comment on how great the look. I was out of surgery at around 11:30 and brought into the recovery room. HUbby came in and gave me kisses. The nurse told him I needed some sleep and he insisted on staying. I told him to go get himself something eat because he had waited long enough. I woke up around 2:30 and told the nurse I wanted to go home, home is my comfort spot. So the nurse helped me get dressed and she put me in a wheel chair and brought me out the back way where hubby was. I don't remember much of the ride home. I went downstairs and hubby set up all of the pillows for me and he even layed in bed but facing the other away. He was afraid he might try to hold me. This may be a but TMI but I was getting that yucky throw up feeling so he came me of the anti-barf butt pill.. no way to really explain it but I felt instantly better. Around 5:30 he told me his parents wasnted us to come for dinner. I wasn't up for it at first but then decided okay. At the same time my mom brought by my two boys, ages 2 and 3. Aiden (3) was too scared to hug me or kiss me, my mom explained to him not to be too rought. I convinced him it was okay and he gave me a gentle hug. She is keeping them again which was awesome of her. Tomorrow she is taking the youngest for the whole weekend. So off we went to his parents, I took two percocets before we left and when we got there I saw at the table for dinner. I had some mashed potatps and a little bit of asparagus. I went into their living room that has an AMAZING recliner and fell asleep in that for a little while. So far everything is good. A little pain and discomfort but not too much at all. My breast mucsles spasm every once in awhile but not bad. My grandmother is picking me up at 7:30 in the morning and taking me to her house where I will meet up with the boys. She's going to watch on all of us. I am very happy and very excited. Tomorrow at 3:45 they are going to remove my bandages and put on new clean ones. Sorry my story was so long. I am greatful for this site and ALL of the ladies on here. You have helped me so much and helped calm my nerves. I am not sure how well I would have done without the kindess and support you all have to offer. I plan on sticking around for awhile even if I have no complications. You're such a great community of ladies if my typing sucks its the meds.

Well today sucks. I notice some girls have a great recovery but today I am in so much pain. enough to where it woke me up a few minutes ago. I didn't wake husband up and got out of bed (not fun) and made it upstairs and into here. I stopped to get some crackers, water, and my pain meds.argh this is not fun right now, it's crazy because I felt pretty awesome yesterday. PLus, on my badages there is blood where my right nipple is and very, very, very little on the left. Is that normal? Enough blood that it went through my shirt, not the outside of the shirt but the inside?? I have my post op today but I am hopeful there is nothing wrong because of the blood. I am thinking of calling them in 2 hours when they open. UGh and these damn spasms suck,

Andi - I think this is pretty normal. One of the big things I did was set my cell phone for every five hours to wake me up and always had a bagel and water at hand to take my pain meds with. Not letting the pain get ahead of you is one of the most important things to a good recovery. It will still hurt, but it won't hurt as badly.
Did the doctor give you any muscle relaxants for the spasms? YOu may want to ask them for that as well. I hope you feel better soon........

So I went to me 1st post op appointment today and he removed the dressings. Even at 1 day new they looked stunning. I like that I am wearing a DD sports bra/compression thing and they haven't even dropped yet!! I am still in a bit of pain though. I got my strap today too but oddly enough I find it comforting!!
