Finally Got Em **UPDATE**

Okay... so I went to my PS yesterday so he could take a look at everything and make sure I'm healing properly. He's concerned about the swelling in my right breast. He said it's very possible that I could have a hematoma. He wants me to come in sometime this morning so his nurse can take a look at me, and again later this afternoon so he can have a glimpse. The swelling was originally in the breast and now it seems to be trickling down my ribcage. My bra is slightly tight around that area, but certainly not uncomfortable. He mentioned that I may require an additional surgery to remove the hematoma. He would basically reopen my incisions, remove the implant, drain the pocket, insert the implant, then sew me up. Has anyone else ever had this problem? What can I expect? And to top it all off, I'm irregular to begin with- but I haven't had a bowel movement in 5 days. My PS recommended a laxative, which I took last night... I'm just hoping I go before I get to the surgi-center! I'll keep you all posted! Thanks for your support!

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully your PS can fix it right up and you can go on to enjoy the new boobies. Best of luck!

Oh you poor thing! I hope everything works out for you...I don't have any advice for you as my BA isn't until the 26th.

Good luck to you!

I'm so sorry you have the hematoma. I had that in 91 right after I left the facility and my right breast swelled up so bad I thought it would explode.
I called the PS and he took one look at me and he put me under, released the fluid and replaced the implant, stitched me up, and placed the drains back on that would be removed in a couple of days, and I was ok.
That was a walk in the park.
I think you will do wonderfully!
I wish you the best and happy healing!
All the best,
Christine
