got boobies today!! (long story)
Preop Appoitment
So yesterday, went to the preop with dear boyfriend. we agreed that 325 would be since i'd be more long the Cup. Surgery i woke up this morning...really dizzy and disoriented. i'm not sure if its the transderm patch or the muscle relaxer last night. i decided not to take the muscle relaxer since it got me so dizzylast night. When we got there, i had to fill out a few more forms as well make paymentfor the hospital. They took my vitals andput me a blue gown and slippers and hair net. I also got an IV for liquids an some antibotics. I did not wake up till an hour passed by and i was put in the recovery room. The nurse got me water and apple juice so i was soo thirsty and didnt drink or eea anythingt until i got there. The nurse called my roomie who was in the watiing room (so grateful to him) I am wrapped up right now in ace bandages. I was in a good amount of pain - maybe a 7 or 8 hen i just tried to move around in bed. The nuse gave me valium but that sill hurts. i will be taking my percoset soon though. My sides are in pain - feels bruised? My tolerance is pretty good and even though it hurts, i wasn't crying or anything My dear boyfriend ahs been so helpful. as soon as i got home, he opened the door, helped me to the room, tucked me in bed and got me drinks, snacks,and a bucket to thrwo up and seemed happy it went over well. =) i left my phone at home so he was like calling the roomie to see how i was. I think my boobs are pretty high on the chest since i went under...umm atalked to my mom who ws also worried on how i was doing. I went thorugh the nipple since the crease left a move visible scar. They are also prety hard and im itchy everywhere BUt the boobs? is this because i couldnt put lotion onat all foe the surgery? I willl post up pics ASAP. btw; if i throw up the pain killes, do you suggest halfing the pill? im very small so sometimes piain killes dont work with me wel. Sorry if this entry is so ungrammatically correct with tons of typos. i'm so out of it! lol I just iiterally got home 20 mins and culdn't wait share with you guys my story. haha

Congrats on your surgery!! As for the pain killers, I got sick from mine and ended up trying to half them up, still got sick, so I ended up getting the ok from my PS to let me take tylenol instead, so you might want to check with him/her. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Hi
Congrats ! With regards to the pain killers - if you get sick, I suggest contacting your PS for advice. I got horribly sick on mine and ignored it - after 8 hours of being constantly sick, I finally contacted my PS. Ended up de-hydrated and back in hospital ... and was taken off all pain meds altogether.I'm sure you'll be just fine though. Get lots of rest and take it easy. |
