Yay!! My BA on 4-25-08

We had to be at the hospital at 5:30am so I had my awesome sister come sleep over so that she can help get my kids up and to school. We arrived at the surgery center, got checked in and then they took me over for the pee test. Good news! I'm not pregnant...haha I got undress with nothing on and then hopped into bed and got my iv started. I had 4 other people in this room with me that were having surgery that morning too but with different doctors. One of the girls there was getting her BA with my doctor but hers was after mine. I don't know why they make you go in so early when surgery takes place 2 hours after your arrival time. My surgery time was at 7:30am and I had to be there at 5:30am. I was pretty bored in that room and was just checking out my nails....LOL then the girl with the BA came in and when she did, my doctor got in also. He came over to talk to me and asked if I had any other questions, blah, blah, blah. That was it, he didn't mark me at all. I forgot to ask him why. So after he talked to me, he talked to the girl next to me also and that's how I knew that she was having her BA too. Right after he left, the happy juice lady came and went over how I was going to be sedated etc, etc. Then they started to inject all sorts of crap into my iv and I became very, very tired. I do recall asking my bed neighbor how many cc she was getting and I recall her saying 600cc and I was like, "dang! that's big"..LOL as I was only getting 350cc..haha. I don't remember getting into the OR but just someone telling me to take a deep breath and then I was in recovery. I remember seeing DH there with the nurse and telling them that I was thirsty. The nurse gave me ice chips and I guess I was gone again. When I came too again, I saw my bed neighbor and she was like "we did it!!" and I was like, "yes, we did!" and then I think we were both out again..hahaha I hope she comes in here and pm me so that we can share our recovery together. Anyways, I remember getting up and telling the nurse that I was ready to go. So she helped me dressed and I insisted on putting on my panties and buttoning my own shirt...lol I don't know what my problem was. I don't remember the ride home but do remember getting home and wanting to hurry up and get on the couch. So that day was pretty much me zooming in and out of space all day. I did take the time during my waking hour to snap a few pictures to put in my yahoo group. My boobs are very, very high and reminds me of sponge bob...LOL I was pretty drugged up and that made me feel so sick that I couldn't keep anything in my tummy. I didn't eat all day which made me wake up on day two starving. I had DH take us out for breakfast/lunch and then my sisters came over and we went out to dinner on day two. My boobs were very sore and so I ended up taking two vicodin. I'm trying to ween out of those things because I'm going back to work on Tuesday and do not want to have to be drugged up. My twins are still very high but less swollen today(day 3) I think. It's not as sore anymore but just tight. I'm hopping that they drop soon so I can wear my nice shirts...LOL Oh, and my DH and sisters were like my boobs are small. I hope when they d & F, they increase in size. I think I might be getting boob greed already...LOL Well, that's it! I still can't believe I'm on the other side now...boobieville!!

Congratulations - welcome to the other side!!!

Take it easy going back to work on Tuesday if you can. Good idea getting off the pain meds if you can....they can really have a nasty effect.

I'm impressed that you went out on day 2!! I wasn't in much shape for an outing until day 4 or 5, and even then I was pretty useless.

i feel just like you about the boobie greed. lol right now they're very swollen and i want them to decrease but not toooo much! hahah.

Thanks! My doctor used a method that is suppose to give us a faster recovery and less pain and I believe that it works. I remember my breast hurted more on the third day after having my babies...LOL

Xephyr love, do you have a yahoo group? I was just wondering. My DH and sisters said that they thought it would be bigger than this... I mean, it hardly look like I have boobs at all..LOL Now I feel weird b/c I padded my bra so big prior to this..hehe

I love it, except for the fact that I think I'm a big small....I guess I won't know until they d&f. So much for worrying that people might notice...hehehe My picture actually look bigger than it is...

lol I felt that way too for the first couple of days.. I'm like hmm I could have gone a little bigger!! But, I'm very happy with my size now! I got 375 cc's and a little taller than you so we will probably have the same results! I fit into a 34 c right now but I know that may not be my final size.. so can't wait to see what I'll turn out to be. It's just way too early now to totally criticize because you still have a long way to go to get final results, but I bet you will love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats again!!!!!!
