I finally have my boobies !
First I want to thank all of you girls for all the support and knowledge, I fell so calm and prepared for my surgery because of this great forum.
My surgery was yesterday the 29. I arrived at the hospital at 6 am, and I had to wait in the waiting room. Then I was taken into another room with my mom and aunt. There I had to change into the robe. From there the nurse came and went over my health and history again and then put the IV in and it hurted so much. From there another doctor came to go over my health again and make sure that I was fine and took my blood preassure (which was normal thank God). From there I was taken to to the surgery waiting room. I gave my mom and aunt a hug, and left. I have to say that was the hardest part for me. I was taken to another room where I met the nurse that would be taking care of me during the surgery. She was super nice and made me feel more calm. After that I met my anestheciologist and he was hillarious and went over my health history again and made me sign some papers. From there my PS came in and told me not to worry that everything was going to be fine. He drew on me and took some pictures. After that my nurse and anestheciologist took me in the strecher to the surgery room, and I was a little freaked out of the surgical room, but the anestheciologist gave me the anesthecia and after that I don't remember anything else. After I woke up in the recovery room and the first thing I said was "I need my mommy", they were really nice and they called my mom and she went and saw me and then left. I was still somewhat sleepy from the anesthecia. My nurse came in and told me everything had gone great and that I looked like a barbie !!! After I was taking to the room with my mom and aunt and I was still somewhat sleepy and I felt nauseus but the nurse gave me something and I haven't felt nauseus again. I finally left the hospital at 3 pm when I felt stronger. I have to say that the hospital treatment was great and they were super nice. Today I went to see my surgeon and he told me that I was fine just really swollen that it would go down. I'm not so much in pain and I feel better. In the private forum I will post my group in yahoo. Thanks to all of you, Angie |

Yeah am staying on top of all my meds, but I've noticed that I haven't needed my pain meds that much. Mostly at night, and in the morning cause morning boobs really suck.
Hey Lala, I hope you are recovering good too. Biggies, don't worry time will fly and you'll be on the other side! And ohhh it feels good to be on the other side. |

Yep !
I'm a very sentimental person and that was my biggest worry, becoming depressed because of the changes. But I noticed how strong I am. I haven't complained about the pain I haven't been bitchy to anyone lol. I'm very proud of myself, and so is my mom ! |

I'm having a good recovery too! the day after was probably the worst..and it wasn't even that bad on a scale of 1-10 I'de say a 2! it's just that tightness in the morning that is a bit uncomfortable. well hope you're doing well...my PS's assistant said day 7 is the magic day where everything will feel normal! hopefully that's true. happy healing boobie sister!

Yeah I can't wait for everything to feel normal and the thightness to leave. Also I'm excited as this weekend I'm going to go buy some cheap bras for when I start work, of course without an underwire.
