Got My Re-Do - JustBreastImplants.com Forums - Breast Augmentation, Breast Implants, and Plastic Surgeons

Hello everyone out there in boobie world. Well, I had my re-do yesterday and am on my way to recovery. I decided to get the re-do done because well for one thing I developed the dreaded boobie greed and I also did not like the feel of the textered implants. I also had no cleavage. There was like a 3 to 4 finger space between my boobs which I did not like at all. Orignially, I got 370 cc's which took me to a full C/baby D. To me it looked good but only in a bra and it needed to be the right type of bra. I found myself looking to wear only certain types of shirts too, thinking that they did not look big enough. Well enough about that, here is how yesterday went.

Surgery was scheduled for 6:30 and of course I was on time. Got check in by the nurses, changed, had my IV started and waited to see my PS. When I had gone in for my appointment I told him that I wanted to go up a cup size so I thought that 500 cc'c would get me there. He said he had brought 3 implants with him ranging from 430 to 510. I asked him to please try th 510 first and that I thought the 430 would not make the difference I was looking for. He did some markings on me and said he would try.

Got wheeled into the room at around 7:10 and spoke with the anesthesia guy. The next thing I knew I was out. Woke up about 11:00, but I kept going in and out. I had a lot of pain inbetween my breasts so asked for some pain meds. Fell back asleep and woke again in pain and feeling queezy. I was given more pain meds and something to make the queeziness go away. By that time my ride had gotten there and was waiting for me. It took a while for me to feel like I could get out of that bed. Oh I forgot to mention one of the most important things. My PS came by to check on me and said that I had gotten the 510 cc implants. I was so happy to hear that. I felt that the smaller implants would not have been worth it.

I have the drains in me so I am not bound or covered with anything except some gauze over the incision site. I have to empty the drains every 8 hours. I get them out on Thursday and I cant wait. Then I can get something put on.

As soon as I got home I went straight to bed. I did not even look at my new and improved girls. When I awoke later that afternoon I decided to take a peek. I think they look bigger and I can see more cleavage, but they seem to be sitting lower than before. Not sure if it is the size or the shape that is making me think that. Last time I got anatomical and this time I got round. I would think the round would sit higher, but maybe it is just my imagination.

This re-do does not seem no where nearas painful as the first one. I had heard this before and now I have to agree. I was thinking about going back to work on Friday since I have a desk job, but think I will wait until Monday. I will keep you all posted with my progess. I am so grateful for this forum and all of you who have been there for me. I wish I had found it before I did my first BA.

YAY Stiphy, I'm soooo happy for you ~ CONGRATZ ~ sounds like everything is going to great since your pain/discomfort is less than your first BA ~ and I think that is soooo awesome that you got the 510cc's like you wanted

Congratulations. I was so glad to read your story. I'm going in my 3rd consultation for re-do surgery. I have some of the same issues you did; smaller than I wanted + 3 fingers between= no cleavage! I'm very careful with what I wear and have to wear an Exxtreme Cleavage bra ALL THE TIME!!
Glad to hear all went well for you. Hope your recovery continues to go smoothly. You've got me all inspired and excited about my re-do!!
