Guess who got her boobies today!!!
Hey ladies!! Just thought I would share my BA story considering I had my surgery this am! So I think I slept about 3 hours last night, took my shower and headed off the the hospital at 6:00am. I was a complete chatter box on the way there and with all of the nurses(i tend to talk alot when I am anxious & if i quite talking, i get really nervous). So right on the dot @ 630, i went back to the preop area got into my gown, those lovely slipper socks, a gorgeous hospital gown. Once i got dressed they told me to go ahead and get on the bed. So I pulled back the sheets and saw this "bear hug" (it looks like a blown up pool float) I sat on it not knowing that I was supposed to be up underneath it! hahaha, the nurses got a laugh out of that. Then a new nurse attempted an IV, but def. missed! So the more experienced nurse popped one right in and got all of my antibotics running. As we were sitting there waiting on the PS to draw on me, I started getting MORE and MORE nervous.. He arrived and then after his lovely artwork, the rest went extremly fast! They gave me so great stuff on the way to the OR and that is ALL i remember! It seemed like I slept for like 30 minutes and it was over like that! While I was in recovery they placed one of those anti-nausea patches on my neck and gave me some phenergan (i was feeling VERY nauseated and I fear throwing up!) Eventually the nausea went away (thank goodness!) ON the car ride home, my mom & fiance said that the PS put 310cc in both breasts, he said he didn't put more than that b/c of how small my body frame is...So I'm HOPING that i can still get a small C cup with that amount!!
Now I'm resting on the reclining couch with a BUNCH of pillows, drinking lots of water and was able to eat some crackers with turkey and cheese! So far so good for no more nausea, but I am feeling alot of pressure. The PS said I would feel a good bit of pressure b/c of how tight my skin was before....but you know what? I'm ssssoooo happy to have some sort of boobs!!! I'm taking Tylox (oxycodone) every 4 hours to keep with with the pain pressure!! Anyways, I have my post op tomorrow at 2:30 pm, so I will update yall again!  Sorry my story was so long and kind of choppy, I'm still kinda groggy and not 100% clear in the head! lol Just so happy to have some boobies!! |
