Ok, so I am postop day 5 and doing well... I had my surgery last saturday and went down to miami to have it done by the famous Dr. Roudner (aka Dr. Boobner! haha). My fiance and I got down to miami on friday and went to my preop appointment, which went well. We met with one of the nurses and discussed size and took pictures. I told her that I was thinking 'full C/baby D'. She thought that was a bit large for my frame, since I am pretty petite, but I told her that I tried on a 34C and that there wasn't a huge amount of space in the cups, so I would be a little sad if I ended up only a C cup... (boy, would I regret that statement later!)

Anyway, so after that, we left and got settled into our hotel room and then went out to dinner at a little bistro in coral gables. DF had a mojito and I was sooo jealous! We went to starbucks afterwards so my fiance could get some work done and I got a phone call from my nurse anesthestist and she made me feel really confident and answered all of my questions. I actually slept really well that night, which was a surprise since I normally get really nervous prior to things like this.

So the next morning they asked if I could come in about ten minutes early, which worked out well, since I was nervously waiting for my appointment. I wore a white juicy outfit and had my hair up in pigtails. It was actually nice to not have any makeup on

Once I got there, I had to pee in a cup for the prego test and then change into some awesome paper panties and a paper gown and hat. Then, the waiting... I was in the room next to OR and could smell the cautery and hear the suction... It was lovely. Then they walked the patient across the hall in front of me and I could hear her mumbling and asking 'Are they small?' It was funny, but made me even more nervous! So a few minutes, Dr. R came and looked at the pictures that I brought and I told him that I wanted a full C (I chickened out of the 'baby D' part!). He looked at my inspiration pictures of Marissa Miller, Brooke Burke, and Heidi Klum, and said 'I can see that!'. Then I reminded him that 'I am going to be a pediatrician, so don't go too big!' He marked me up a bit and then that was it! I walked into the OR and laid down on the table, getting really nervous at this point! The nurse anesthestist said that I looked a little dehydrated and was having trouble finding a good vein. Finally got me and I felt woozy and was out like a light!

Next thing I know, I wake up and asked how many CCs I got... 400ccs mod plus! I was like 'holy s***t!' That was a little bigger than I expected! So the rest of my recovery has gone well. I was on the vicodin for 2 days and then stopped it and finally finished my keflex this am. I did throw up once on the car ride home on day 3, and have been totally constipated (miralax not quite doing the trick, i'll have to get some aloe vera or something), but other than that the boobies look good and have little to no bruising.

My concern now is the size. girls... I've got huge knockers! And this is not a good thing... I am a size 2, 5'4'' and 115 lbs and I'm telling you, I look like I am about to topple over! Please tell me that they will get smaller once the swelling goes down! (I really don't think there is a ton of swelling right now anyway!). I don't have the frankenboob look, so I don't know how dramatically they will change...

I really don't want this porn star look... Please, boobies, go down! (I am chanting this over and over!) Does any one else feel this way? I have been trying not to think about it, since I don't want to get depressed, but I am definitely not loving my new look, like I was hoping...

Congrats on the new boobies. Glad to hear things went well for you. I would have freaked out if I was sitting outside the OR and could smell the cautery!

I haven't had my BA yet, so I'm not much help with your question about the size, but I'm sure the swelling will go down. Trust your surgeon, you were very clear with what you wanted. I'm curious to see what size you end up since I'm going to do the 400cc mod+ as well. Take care!

Dont get too hung up on the cc's! It can be hard to accurately visualize your boobs if you are thinking "OMG I have huge implants = I have huge boobs." I am not as slender as you right now, but I was a 00 all through highschool, now a 2/4 after college with a very small frame and bigger implants and at day 5 I was terrified they were too big too. Now on day 13 I am asking if my DH if he can even tell I had a BA because they seem to have shrunk!

Unlike you I did have the frankenboob look but like you I thought I had very little swelling, no bruising at all and just looked good. Sure enough I was swollen, my PS commented on it at my first post op visit, and when it went down everything started to settle. Give them time, but I think you will come to appreciate the size and be glad you did not go any smaller.

Congratulations on your new additions, I hope you continue to have a smooth recovery!

Congratulations! It sounds like all is going well for you. The swelling will go down and you won't look so top heavy. You'll also be able to downplay the girls in certain clothing. HTH

Congrats on the boobies! I can relate about thinking they're too big at first. When i first tried to put on one of my old shirts after my BA they stuck out so far and looked HUGE to me. But now 6 days out they already look smaller (probably combination of swelling going down and getting used to them). I didn't tell anyone including my mom who works at my office and she hasn't noticed! I padded before and have been covering them with a sweater/jacket, so you can definitely play them down until they settle. I don't think 400 will be porn star big on you at all! Good luck, I think you will be happy you went bigger in the end

hiya! im 1 week post op. am soo tiny only 90lbs, 5'3 and really small looking and i got 325cc mod plus in left and 350cc mod plus in right. now that is kinda big but it looks reaaallly good cause i look so small with clothes on and only wen im naked they r huge and depends on wat u wear. i think 400cc wud be a gr8 size on u cause ur 115 lbs perfect figure looks like for a 5'4 height and u will not be upset u went smaller and took so much pain! i m sure u will love them.

Congrats on the new additions!! I am so jealous. You are roughly my size (I am 125lbs) and I have my consult in a month so I would love to hear about your progress as the swelling goes down, etc.. I'm sure they will look perfect soon enough, good luck!

hang in there....everything might just be overwhelming right now. Swelling will go down and you'll get used to them as well. Give them a chance first, because they need to heal properly and dont' stress yourself out, because that will delay healing too.
