Hey girls!!!

Soooo I did it... I am officially a citizen in boobeyville! Ha!!

I will make my story quick since I am not making too much sense to anyone right now! hahha!

Went in on Wed (the 7th) at about 10:30 ish. Had some pre-op stuff done, and waited and waited (which was the WORST part).
Talked with the whole team of people, including PS who marked me about 15 minutes prior to surgery.... Feeling very nervous and scared, but knew that I was going to just get in and get out.
I cried a couple of times talking to the nurses etc... just scared and emotional.
Then I got the IV which hurt like hell!!!! (which seemed silly cause I knew I was in for a lot worse)!

When the anesthesiologist came it to talk, I told her that I was prone to getting nauseous and really did not want that when I woke up... so she was really cool and told me she would change a few things around to make sure that she was doing all she could so I didnt get nauseous... WHICH not once have I even felt the slightest bit sick (yay)!

Anesthesiologist came in and gave me a sedative (which was a major head rush) and said it would help me relaax on the way over. Said good bye to DH and off I went. I remember vaguely talking to Anesth. and her saying good night....
Next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery... In a lot of pain... not like piercing pain but throbbing aching pain. Told the nurse that was with me (in a sleepy state) and he was like ok I will put something in your IV.... he had to do this twice before I even felt like it was helping at all!
A couple of crackers later and vicodin in liquid form... I was feeling much better. I woke up uncontrollably shaking and freezing... so the nurse gave me something for that too... after a bit I was feeling much better, just groggy.
The first night I didnt sleep at all but last night I got some great sleep.
I have already started weaning off pain meds.... SO the pain is def bearable....

The worst part right now is the swelling and weird sensations I am getting in the left boobie!

Other than that, I am feeling sooo great.... My hubby has been amazing... feeding me, cleaning me, fluffing pillows.... That has been the nice part of it....

I am already unwrapped (yesterday I got unwrapped) which is nice to be in a sports bra now, but it was also nice to be all tucked in!!!!

My crease scars are only about 4CM and they seen really symmetrical! YAY!

Sound like you are doing great!!!! Like I have heard tons of times... Don't try to be the hero, take your pain meds as much as you need to. Get alot of rest and let everyone do everything for you.. Can't wait to hear how you feel in a few days.. WELCOME TO BOOBIEVILLE!!!!!

Awww thanks so much ladies!!!

Still feeling "off" but all and all doing pretty well!!!

Still haven't don much... I showered for the first time today... not going to lie THAT felt really weird!!!
Is that normal? When do they feel normal, like your own? Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Thanks again everyone!!! I feel so understood when I am on here... not to go cheesey on you all :-)
