So I had my BA yesterday morning, I woke up about 8:30....well i got out of bed then, I didnt really sleep much at all. Got my pj pants and my hoodie on, and just sat around until my Bf was ready. I had to be at the office at 10:05, we were about 30 min early, and my best friend met us up there.

When we got the nurse had me go empty my bladder, and then when I got back to the waiting room she said we could go to a different room (there was a few ppl in the main area) so we could all sit down and I could relax. So we just sat there talking for a bit, I did a crossword puzzle (yes I am a nerd).

Then just a little after 10am my nurse came in, put my wonderful surgey bracelet on, and off I went. We went back to the OR area and I got into a gown....got to keep my pj pants on, and the beautiful hair net. She administered the IV which was the part I was most nervous about (im terrified of needles). She did a fabulous job and I didnt feel a thing! Then the Anesthisiologist (sp?) came in and talked to me for a little bit. Then Dr. Ciaravino came in to talk and get a look at me one more time, he said that he would probably use 2 different size bags to fix my assymetry. Then they gave me some medicine to relax. It kicked in pretty fast.

Then it was time, they took me back to the OR I got on the table and layed down, and thats pretty much the last thing I remember.

After I wole up they told me it took about 45 min and they gave me 325' on both sides left filled to 340 right to 360. And then I was on my way home, the whole thing took maybe about 2 and a half hours. I didnt feel naueseated at all and was actually hungry. Now I'm just a little uncomfortable but not too much pain at all.

SO all in all it was a pretty good experience! Not looking forward to the massaging I have to start today...

Ya, massaging is not fun especially for the first time post OP, but hang in there, you'll get used to it.

I only wish that my experience turns out like that...good for you!

I went with saline, mostly cause my mom was more comfortable with it, and im not old enough for silicone. thanks for the well wishes!!

you know it is funny, my PS doesn't believe in massaging. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing...
