Finally!

Well, the deed is done. Have been talking about it for four years, so it seems alittle surreal....until I try to get up out of a chair that is!
I have been obsessed with research and pictures of what I want since I had my liposuction three years ago. I had spoken to Dr. Henry about implants at the time, but I wanted to see how I recooped from lipo first. Shortly after I was going through multiple surgeries due to an injury at work, so new boobs were on the back burner. I had surgery on my arm just a week ago, but had a consult with Dr. Henry again a few days prior. I decided what the heck, my arm is already going to be a mess, so I know that I will actually be compliant (I am a nurse, so I'm normally not..lol). We happened to run into some extra money, so we paid cash and waited until the 19th. Monday we arrived at Dr. Henry's in Greenbrae, 7am sharp. I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to be there until 8am....nerves I guess. I was already grumpy with no food and no dang coffee....so I went into an an exam room (that thankfully had a couch) and went back to sleep. About 40 mins later in pops my surgeon (who I love to death) asking to take pics and am I ready to go. We talked alittle more about sizing, as the whole 700cc had worried me since consult. She knew that I was looking for upper pole volume, and said she would put in 700cc and if it looked like to much she would down size from there. In comes the nurse, which was a doll too and ran me through the consents, the anestisiologist (spelling is off....on meds right now...lol) who assured me I would be fine. He joked about where I wanted "to go" while I was alseep...I told him in a bikini in Hawaii. He laughed as we went to the OR and talked nursing shop while he put in the IV. The nurse cracked me up saying I looked familar-Drew Barrymore...I told her at my old job the inmates use to call me Drew Phiefer as everyone thinks I am a cross between the two. Next thing I know I am in recovery. As I wake up, I can feel this HUGE pressure on my chest. Mimi (the nurse) assures me that this is normal, and swears I'm not having a heart attack (which was how I felt). She asked if I was nauseated, and I laughed and said actually I am starving. She laughs....I fall back asleep. I guess she had told my husband when I while I was snoring that 700cc ended up being too much, so I ended up with around 550cc (so he says). I am going to call and get the exacts, as my husband can't seem to remember. Next it is off to the wheelchair and in the car for the 5 hour drive home. Even with pills in me I can feel every turn, bump, stop...ect and I am ready to KILL my husband by the time we get home. I woke up a couple times last night....to take more pain pills...my incision on the right (crease) was burning like hell. I decided to flip the sports bra edge up and tape it so it wouldn't rub so bad and it seems to help. This morning I got up at 5 am and have been hanging out on the internet resting. I am havin alittle pain now and then, nothing major...I keep wanting to take the sprts bra off and see my new boobs, but my husband yells at me when I do...lol. I talked with Dr. Henry's office today who says only sports bras for the first six weeks...ugh! No cute clothes for the next six weeks I guess. She said I can take a sponge bath, but hubbie has to wash my hair. Saran wrap the incisions of course. Well, I am glad I have no wear to go for some time anyway! I can already tell that I am going to grow tired of everyone doing everything for me. Not to mention no excercise! My stomach (which is normally flat...I gain weight in my butt) looks like I am about to deliver twins! Me and DSS (stool softener) are becoming fast friends, along with fibercon. I have a consultation with dr. Kimberley Henry in Greenbrae on June 11. I am assuming it is the same doctor. If, so, I hope I love her too!!! How exciting for you. Congratulations!!!!
