Last night at 9 pm I took my amrix (muscle relaxer) which is time released and was supposed to help with discomfort post op. I was not nervouse last night at all. However, after being up half the night with my 2 year old, I woke up jittery and nervous. My DH wanted to talk on the way to the hospital but I was so nervous and unbelieving this was really fixing to happen that I did not say much.
We left at 7 am after dropping of my youngest child at the sitter and arrived for surgery at 8 am. When we got there, I showed my husband the pharmacy where he would fill my prescriptions. I also showed him a place to get something to eat. He was starved and went to get something to eat. By the time he came back, they were escorting my in to prepare for surgery. They took my DH's phone number, gave him prescriptions to fill and off we went. I changed into my gown and then laid on my bed and was asked a zillion questions, many repeated again when another nurse would come through. Everyone was great. A 24 year old went ahead of me and came for recovery behind a curtain as I was beginning to drift off. She had issues with nausea and vomitting which momentarily made me nervous. When the PS saw me prior to surgery, I had pics for him to look at and told him I wanted to be small to medium C. I had orginally told him full b/small c. I did up it a bit based on his recommendation at the original consulation. Next thing, I knew surgery was over and the nurses where trying to get me to eat ice and wake up. I must have been in recovery about an hour before I woke up. They said everything went really well. Besides being extremely groggy after the surgery, I have felt fine--maybe too fine becasue I folded a load of clothes. My DH was not happy with me for that an I understand why. I not do anything else this evening. Currently, I am wrapped in thick gauze and an ace bandage. I will take them off myself tomorrow morning before my shower. I am nervous about the size but they are so tightly wrapped that I have no idea at this moment besides the fact that I am not in any real pain whatsoever. The nurse said I got 350cc smooth round silicone unders HP. I was an a/b cup size before and am 5'4 1/2" tall and 111 pounds. What do you think I will get from that? Most of the afternoon I have laid in the bed and stayed up on my meds. However, when I get up, I do not feel bad. I would probably get carried away and hurt my self being that I do not feel too much pain. However, my husband is not allowing it and for once in our married life, he is treating my like a queen. I am not used to not being able to do things. I want the house clean etc and with 3 boys this can be a challenge. Mostly uneventful, but I like so many of you have finally entered BoobieLand.

I noticed that you will be getting 300 cc's but you are shorter than myself. What is your expected outcome?

Congratulations and hoping the rest of your recovery goes just as smooth. I felt fine and definitely overdid it at about one week. My husband just looked at me and shook his head, lol. I have a 3 year old and it is almost impossible to sit in the bed for a week. I had to get up and move around, which made my son want attention. I had to make myself slow down because I was causing more pain. Keep us posted!

Way to go hubby! Aren't they funny about this? Hopefully we don't need to keep getting implanted, nipped, tucked, etc to be treated like queens!!! My husband has never been so engaged in my long winded monologues as when I talk about my breasts-to-be. Not even looking at his Blackberry or his eyes wandering to the game score on ESPN! I think I'm on to something. Congratulations and THANKS so much for the details. It really helps the rest of us who are still anxiously waiting!!!!
