for years ive been self conscious about how small i am, no-one has ever had a problem with it, never got bullied cuz of it or anything like that, but kinda gets soul destroying seeing lovely lingerie and them not doing it in your size, i think its as ive grown up, im in my 20s and when i looked into the mirror i saw the body of a 11/12 year old, no wonder my confidence was down.
I'd always said no i wouldnt get surgery, was even quite snobby about it, but when i realised how many people i knew had them done and were happier i thought id look into it, so i did some research for a few months, and got referred by my gp, i had 2 consultations to discuss size and the kinda look i was after, im an AA so decided on a B as im very slim and would look silly any bigger.
My surgery was yesterday 07/06/2008, i was so nervous about going under, i really thought i wouldnt wake up, but i did, felt a bit silly afterwards, the nurses and the staff at the hospital really looked after me and i came home today, so now im looking forward to the swelling to go down, and going underwear shopping soon to show them off!

Congratulations and a speedy recovery! Your story resonates with me. I spent my teen years and 20's feeling that very same way. It's not easy on our psyches. I'm happy that you're taking care of yourself and I'm happy for you. Yay!!

I felt just like you, always said I wouldn't have surgery - but I think I was trying to convince myself more than anybody else.

What size did you end up getting? I'd love to end up a large B myself and was thinking mid-200's!!

well my surgeon ordered 2 sizes, 210cc and 240cc, she went for the 210cc becuase she said that the 240cc were starting to creep under my armpit, im quite petite, and they look waaay bigger anyway so im happy with the size, i think if your built smaller you can get away witht he lower cc's, but depends on the size and kinda look you want at the the end of the day x
